1/2 Reality in Ukraine. After a night of heavy Russian attacks, spent in a shelter instead of our scheduled night train, we finally left an almost dystopian Kyiv at dawn—smoke hanging over the skyline, the sun an eerie orange through the haze.
Our train east was evacuated twice.

Ukrainian judges are in Ireland this week, as their justice system continues to operate under pressure from more than three years of Russia’s full-scale invasion. This visit, organised by IRLI, @EUAM_Ukraine and @dfatirl, connects Ukrainian and Irish justice expertise to support accountability during the war.

I just spoke with my colleagues in @EUDelegationUA in Kyiv, after our building was damaged by a Russian strike.
Your resolve to keep supporting Ukraine gives us strength. No diplomatic mission should ever be a target.
In response, we are summoning the Russian envoy in Brussels.

Honest Ukrainian businesses should receive additional guarantees of protection against possible unlawful actions of law enforcement. At the "Made in Ukraine" conference, I outlined the important improvements that @GP_Ukraine is implementing together with business community representatives.
Now, the Standards for Prosecutors' Activities in the Field of Investment Protection during Pre-trial Investigations will become binding and will be implemented in the daily work of prosecutors shortly. Their provisions have been updated by the Department of Criminal Policy and Investment Protection of the Prosecutor General's Office together with representatives of business associations, the @Bus_Ombudsman, @IDLO, @EUAM_Ukraine.
Non-compliance with these Standards may result in a range of procedural and personnel decisions.
We systematically cooperate with all major business associations to tackle challenges, emphasizing the need to eliminate the disgraceful practices of law enforcement officers who abuse their powers and exert pressure on businesses for personal gain. Over 120 cases have been resolved through the work of the specialized department, which ensured that the rights of entrepreneurs were protected.
We are committed to developing transparent partnership with the business community, ensuring open communication, and providing comprehensive protection for the rights of honest business, which makes an invaluable contribution to Ukraine's economic development in wartime.
We must do everything to strengthen the 🇺🇦 state and to ensure that our common victory over the enemy is Made in Ukraine.
