It’s getting to the point where reading comments on x posts is completely pointless. It’s all AI slop. 95+%

you will be much better off not worrying at all if software is dead or not and instead just continue making cool and useful things and exploring your curiosity to wherever it takes you

Saying software is dead because anyone can build it is like saying photography is dead now that everyone in the world has a camera in their pocket
Not only is it not dead it's the beginning of the Kodak Brownie moment for software, and we will see an absolute explosion of it
It will be the first generation for who building software will feel no different than using it. This is crazy!
The quality and bar of what we expect from our everyday apps will be raised dramatically, we'll have personal software, we'll have disposable software, and agents will be the foundation for most of it
Tech has always been chaotic and evolving, the people who have been able to adapt and move in front of new opportunities have always excelled, this is nothing new, I'm seeing it now and we'll see it 10 years from now
Find the opportunities in the chaose and disruption, there are countless of them

Higgsfield have scaled to $1BN in ARR in 18 months; that is faster than Cursor.
But did you know they have over 150 people in content production alone?
For every product release, funding announcement, you name it, they have built a content machine that is unmatched.
The next generation of companies will have content baked into their DNA.

Whole stack being rewritten.
Business, tech, everything.
Every category is back up for grabs.
Simultaneously, nobody knows what the winning paradigms will be.
Once in a generation window.
What a time to be alive.

I hope people are now starting to see through the game of the AI doomers, and especially the Effective Altruism cult.
What they've tried over the past few days is part of their standard playbook: cause widespread fear and panic, then follow it up with attempts at regulatory capture.
They will try this again.

I don't trust anyone's AI risk assessment. I don't think we know what awaits us.
Given that, I'm choosing to be optimistic, betting an existence more extraordinary than we can imagine sits on the other side and it's worth fighting for.

It’s just so overplayed

Software built for humans is fast becoming infrastructure for agents.
The interaction model is shifting from:
Human ↔ software
to:
Human ↔ agent ↔ software
Most companies are not ready for this.

Only skill that matters in business is writing.
Everything is downstream. Writing is the root.
The people that takeover in the next era will be all excellent writers
Each day, I write 15-20 pages.
Either content scripts, trainings, YouTube videos, etc.
The clarity loop that comes from distilling your thoughts is the most valuable thing to spend time on.
If you want to get better at writing, you need to start creating content (that is longer-form and requires articulating your thoughts)

We're now in a period of time where applied knowledge dominates credentials.
And self-education is the only education left that matters.
Teach yourself everything you need to know, go where that knowledge takes you, and provide a great life for your family.

there are only 2 ways to lower your churn for your web app:
1. Add guides
2. Make your product better
your customers need to see and feel the value of your product instantly creating that moat.
believe it or not your customers are likely “dumber” than you expect, and adding visuals guides, tutorials, etc to help them out will decease churn.
I’ve been using many SaaS products where it took my alone 5 minutes to figure out how the product works 💀
make it simple and add some guides
this will lower your churn by 50%
