Robert Kabera, a former Rwandan army sergeant major who was an outspoken critic of President @PaulKagame, has been found beheaded. Our condolences are with his family. When America forgets that it is the leader of the free world, defenders of liberty are murdered.
Many people in D.C. have asked why we stand with the people of the #DRC against Rwandan President @PaulKagame, and our answer is simple: President Kagame is the embodiment of evil, and the good people of the DRC and President #Tshisekedi are the only ones currently standing up to this evil.
While Europeans and businesses like Formula 1 (@F1), which just signed an agreement with #Kagame’s Rwanda, are apparently prepared to look the other way, the United States must stay true to democracy and the rule of law and hold President Kagame and his associates accountable.

STOP THE VIOLENCE ON X PLATFORMING COMING FROM ACCOUNTS BASED IN RWANDA: After the reported beheading of former Rwandan soldier and government critic Robert Kabera in Uganda, several accounts based in Rwanda have posted content calling for the beheading of other critics living in Uganda.
One example is a post by @mobigreen89, which states in Kinyarwanda: “This is the head we want!!! The poison coming out of this YouTuber Bosco is wearing us out!.... this is the one we want!” The post also demand the individual be pursued in Rwanda.
X’s rules prohibit violent speech that threatens, incites, glorifies, or expresses desire for harm.
Action requested: Please report such accounts for violence, using the platform’s official in-app reporting tool (three dots → Report → select the appropriate category for abusive or violent content).
