This is the most exciting badge we've ever made ...and it's the only badge we're making from now on.
My sole contribution was messaging "FRAMEWORK BADGE!!!1!" at the badge team in the early hours of the morning.
They made it happen, and they nailed it.

At @EEHackSpace and I might have _finally_ got all the air out of the right hand brake on our @Hacky_Racers so I'm going to have a celebratory cup-a-soup.

Today at @EEHackSpace we finally got our @Hacky_Racers entry going after months and months of slow work and wazzed it around in the dark and rain. It does little power wheelies as it is geared a bit too short. Really happy it's finally going. Need to tidy up the wiring but yay!

Converted another hoverboard to nunchuck control so we can build a second "Hacky armchair" at @EEHackSpace. For reasons that don't involve racing them in the car park at all. Nope. Not going to happen.

A long time ago at @EEHackSpace we made a silly hoverboard driven platform: a direct build of one of the original hoverboard hacks. It broke at some point so last night I troubleshooted it. Next time I'm there I'll put it back together and box the controller in to make it better.

I have exactly one product but it's more 'proof of life' so I could set up a Tindie store than something I'm expecting to sell many of. The C3 Basic is a minimal ESP32-C3 dev board intended for permanent fitment in a project with an offboard USB connector tindie.com/products/hale/c3-…

I'm at @EEHackSpace to faff with our @Hacky_Racers again. Going to try sort out the dragging brake and swap the motor phases so it doesn't default to driving in reverse.

Today at @EEHackSpace we built a silly moving platform out of an old Hoverboard, for reasons. Our immediate thought was: it's not fast enough.

Last couple of days I've been working on code and prototype hardware for an upgrade to the access control nodes at @EEHackSpace. It's screwed down to a board so it can be passed, working, to whoever else wants to have a go. Not complicated but some faff with the peripherals.
ALT An Olimex ESP32-EVB dev board fixed down to a piece of plywood along with an RC522 RFID reader and metal vandal resistant number pad. It's wired together fairly tidily and powered by a 12v jack plug. The ESP32 board is connected to the network by ethernet.
