It’s basically the same although so far it is quite lighthearted and people haven’t started arguing with each other yet. Which is nice.

To the 1 person who answered ‘No’, i’ll see you when you’re 40+ (if you manage to stay in strength and conditioning for that long) and all of a sudden realise you’re stuck + begin wondering whether you should have started a side hustle. 👍🏼
In a saturated market of coaches + practitioners resorting to pathetic acts of intentional attention seeking and strategic controversy to gain notoriety, I’d rather be known for being world-class at one thing + not coming across like a knob in the process!
This doesn’t mean you can’t use your knowledge and skills to serve wider needs should you want to.
It simply means you can stand out and become known for something.
A clear niche allows you to be very specific in your marketing and therefore attract the right customer.
When you do this you get to work with people you actually like working with.
26 people positively answered by poll about the business of strength + conditioning.
This is 1.4% of my following.
Which perfectly tees up my first message.
👉 Stand for someone not everyone.
Define your niche + your ideal customer. Do not play to the masses.
Why? 🧵
So far this has got 7 votes. All ‘yes’ but I’m not sure it’s what you would call a mandate.

I’ve been toying with the idea of sharing some S+C business learnings + advice for coaches here on Twitter.
I’ve been self employed in the industry for 15+ years + had multiple businesses.
