Vittorio has left this world today 😢
He was a unique individual. Full of passion, curiosity, knowledge, wisdom and sense of humor. “Buongiorno Eveybody!” he would start every conference talk.
I am only grateful to him. Auth0 is the result of his influence and passion for identity 🙏
I am very sad but also relieved that I was able to tell him how much I loved and admired him the last few months while he was sick.
Thank you Vitto, you will be missed but your legacy will be always remembered ✨
Swinging back on here for a moment to say I have some Blue sky invite codes. DM me if you need one and I will see what I can do – at Redmond, WA
Go to stripe.com/docs/payment-link… to try it out yourself 🙂 – at Bellingham, WA
One of my favorite features shipped in @stripe docs recently: you can now hover over api parameters in code snippets to get in-context definitions i.e. no more having to navigate away and break flow to get this information 😍
We updated the search UX on Stripe.com/docs, it's not a huge change, but there's a new feature we haven't added any advertisement about yet...
Hint: try typing API: in the prompt 🙂 – at Redmond, WA

Because of the pay gap, women have lost out on more than $60 trillion in wages since 1967.
Yes, trillion.
Today women still earn roughly 82 cents for every dollar earned by men, despite playing an outsized role in our economy.
We must ensure fair wages for all.

This is a reckless comment from a lawyer who knows better. No one is jailing anyone at will. A grand jury has found probable cause of crimes. Trump gets due process, like everyone else. He gets jailed only if a jury finds guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and a judge imposes jail.

As a company of developers, building for developers, we care *a lot* about developer tools.
So we built Workbench—a first-of-its-kind dev tool that lets you look under the hood to understand, debug, and grow your Stripe integration.
Introducing Stripe Workbench. 🧰
Build faster than ever with our new developer tool.

I missed it when it was live, but happy to find video of demand of Connor playing at a @wizards_magic event in Dallas: twitch.tv/videos/1836771462?…

Then with @micaelaballew, I got the chance to build stripe.com/terminal. I desperately wanted to make this animation extra special, so I quietly snuck in an easter egg to make the buttons clickable.
1337 still redirects you to the /jobs page 😏

I had an awesome time interviewing @dwizzzleMSFT. Dave is super smart and a champion for security researchers and the hacker community. I'm now also convinced he's cloned himself and/or created a pocket universe in order to undertake all of his extra-curricular hobbies. 😁 Enjoy!
David Weston @dwizzzleMSFT, VP of Enterprise and OS Security at Microsoft, joins @nicfill in the first episode of the new BlueHat podcast to discuss the importance of security research as part of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.

Not everyone knows this, but Taylor Swift also wrote another book, under a pseudonym. It’s called Born Yesterday: Inexperience and the Early Realist Novel, and you can buy it here: press.jhu.edu/books/title/11…

Chat is the most obvious but least interesting interface to LLMs. It’s like calling REST APIs using curl. There’s not enough exploration into using the LLM response to power graphical interfaces, like we’d use any other API.
Went through this history with someone at work recently, figured I should write it up and put it out onto the web
