We've been delivering free #waterbutts in #Corsham as part of our #NaturalFloodManagement works in the area. While we are working up in the headwaters, even small steps like having a water butt or limiting paved areas in urban areas can contribute to a reduction in flood severity!

How much do many people in #Bristol value their #rivers?.... Work to do @BristolAvonRT.
During a survey of a local river yesterday I came across this appalling sight. Flow blocked & water polluted by a complete contempt for the natural environment. Falls on those who care for it to clean up their mess. Thank you @bristolparks for a speedy response, we appreciate it

BART have completed the Caring for the Cam project, made possible by a generous grant from players of People's Postcode Lottery through @plocaltrust. It enabled 650 metres of fencing to protect the brook, 240 trees planted by volunteers and 2 fantastic community river events!

A HUGE thank you to the brilliant volunteers from @avon_angling and beyond who spent their Saturday planting 240 native trees along the Cam Brook! This will make a crucial difference to the brook and it's bankside habitat and build resilience to climate change! 🌳🌳🌳
These good people joined @BristolAvonRT planting 240 trees along the banks of the Cam brook today. Guided by the brilliant George and Simon. @bob_combedown provided the "Heroes" to keep the sugar levels up & @Theo_Pike showing the way with his spade work. #ataawaters
Morning! We hope it was as easy for you to spring out of bed this morning as this #CasedCaddisfly! #freshwater #invertebrates #riverecology @Riverflies
