One of the committee members over seas Foolishly not realising it was internationals, Tamworth at home today was sacrificed for Dordrecht v Almere yesterday. The hazards of a non league drinker. #DOTinternational 🇳🇱

Newport at Bristol Rovers Aaron & @Ryan_Russell__ having a quick dash over the border for the early ko. Arrive, cause havoc, leave, back in the local at a more than reasonable time
First away game of season uppa county @DrinkingDOT @Ryan_Russell__

A hop for NNLS heading down to Clapton v Benfleet for a hopping session If he’s on the return leg without dyed hair, a refugees welcome badge & answers to the pseudonym Citizen Scran, he’s done well

Lincoln at Derby Imps are back on board & it’s as if their table has been in waiting since promotion back in spring. Just as the last beer stain has been scrubbed off from last season, they’re back to make sure the cleaner’s worth their wage “Your usual seats, gentlemen?”

Pompey at West Ham A nice quiet one to ease your way back into the season. Actions of today lead by Tim may give the FA something to think about for a later return to the 27/28 campaign

Matt Slithering back down across the border after once again getting that age old question after a summer of anticipation & 90 mins of reality, “why do we bother?” Answered immediately when those train door slide shut & the pin on the can is pulled forward

A plug for a #DOT original & likeminded individual. A top bloke that’s had an incredible & fascinating life. Aldershot & Motherwell anecdotes aplenty & times which will be a tough read but a fucking gooden. One of our own⬇️ linktr.ee/peteoshea?utm_sour…

Chelsea at Napoli One of the more tricker walks to & from station, made even harder with a dose of Brit’s abroad & a skinfull of the local liquor, strolling around the early hours of an unknown surrounding At least the amount they have will numb any pain #DOTinternational 🇮🇹

Chester at Scarborough One of a handful of games still on in the national north (as of time of post). Disappointing for #DOTters , who could do without the 90 and relish the notification of “postponed” for an exploration of the destinations local boozers

Southport at Eastleigh A long old journey down south for the trophy fixture which these 2 were more than happy with when the draw came out, purely down to the length of #DOTting time available If they’re conscious by London, they’re not trying hard enough

York at Sutton The prospect of an away win & getting to the peak of the table is a nice feeling, the thought of hours on the rattler with beverages and a crawl pre & post match is even better and quite frankly, the main goal of the day
Sutton away! Getting lively in carriage C this morning, will flatts got his cheeseboard out and we’re all ready for a big 3 points @DrinkingDOT

Cambridge at Chesterfield The slicing of fruit conducted at 2am this morning turned out not to be a waste of time Unknown if the kitchen tools also made it into the bag

A table used the correct way on the Rattler, courtesy of Spencer & his associates The general public so impressed they’ve got their phones out in awe & not for the purpose of handing in incriminating evidence to the BTP for a change

Millwall at Blackburn Not long until ko so right about now they should be either wrapped up like nans Xmas prezzie by Lancashire Constabulary or lying in the nearest public house having downed to much in the excitement of the though of getting back to the boozer by 2:30pm

Tranmere at Oldham Just the right amount of fire power needed for the visit to Boundary Park this afternoon. The arms will keep swinging even if the legs forget how to work @FletchTrfc

Oxford at Charlton These gents look extremely chuffed with themselves and so they should be, not only have they procured the table but know that the carriage will be there’s too judging by the chap with the iPad who from his facial expression, already knows what’s to come

The Committee at Boston Festive themed #DOT . 90mins of dross won’t dampen spirits too much as now performances on the pitch has become water off a duck’s back. Just a minor inconvenience to briefly interrupt proceedings before getting back in the happiness of the carriage

Fosse at QPR Fruity number down to West London. Don’t be surprised if the consumption makes a second appearance before ko. Second wind should arrive just in time for post match pint

Winchester at Portishead A solo journey my Robert which sometimes is a blessing. No need for small talk. The tinnage will flow as will the gradual slurs and comments about other passengers, time will pass then it’ll be a full on conversation with the BTP
MATCHDAY! 1st leg of the journey to @PortisheadTown underway. Booked my train 9 weeks ago, & back then there were 5 of us. 1 by 1 they've dropped out, so I'm a Billy-No-Mates on the train today, but got some beers for company. Buzzing for the game later. #UpTheWinch ❤️🖤
