What I loved was that most of the people who quoted and called out her nonsense were fellow women, including those who had experienced both vaginal delivery and CS themselves. Being a feminist doesnβt mean you just say whatever rubbish you wish
βThe vagina goes back to its normal size after childbirthβ
This is one of the biggest lies sold to women.
Your vagina never returns to its original size, so I urge women to opt for CSβ¦.
Especially if you still want to enjoy your sexual life.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Vaginas typically return close to pre-birth size and tone after vaginal delivery via natural recovery and pelvic floor exercises; cesarean delivery is not medically recommended to preserve sexual function.

I have always adviced people not to go physical with healthcare workers or anyone at the face of dispute not because I am a doctor but because of one experience I will never forget.
A patient relative slapped a very cool headed and one of the most hard working house officer back then.
The house officer didn't raise his voice, other colleagues stepped in, the man said he wasn't going to apologize and all, HOD came and was begging the house officer to forgive.
Everybody thought matter has died a natural death, after all the house officer was in the theatre assisting a surgery and even gisting with conso and colleague when we started hearing noise outside.
Apparently some group of young boys on complete black with Timbo and tools done first mount hospital, gateman fled the scene, they picked up this man, dissected his face with slap, and whisked him away.
For hours everyone started begging the house officer and he kept saying "I am not the one, I don't know who those people are, maybe it is coincidence, pls allow me do my work"
When the man finally came back, he wore a new attire of humility till the wife was discharged.
Since then I have reinterated my resolve never to go physical with anyone irrespective of the situation, that your neighbour fit be king wey you knowπππ

On behalf of all Manchester United fans, Michael Carrick we are sorryππ
Because somewhere in their history, someone had the intelligence to say, βThis is unsafe. Letβs not do itβ
Involve your doctors in businesses
Give your doctors updates
Connect your doctors to high profile people
Invite them to high profile meetings
Involve them in startups
Don't only keep them for online consultations.........

Nigeria is dangerously not inclusive.
I know this doctor that stammers. When he goes for interview, he sees his colleague spend up to 30 mins, but his interviews doesn't go past 5 mins. He could tell they just want to dismiss him and move to the next person.
The doctor went for his PLAB exam in England. A day was set aside for doctors with speech difficulty. They were given extra time and asked if the time would be enough for them. He passed the PLAB. In Nigeria, when he takes exam, he has to finish within the alloted time given to people without difficulty.
How do we expect perfection from people who are already with personal difficulties? We need to imbibe grace as a people.
Whoever designed the English language needs to be investigated.
You can be "underwhelmed"
You can be "overwhelmed"
But apparently you cannot simply be "whelmed"
You can be "dishevelled".
But never "shevelled"
You can be "ruthless", but nobody has ever said, βYeah, heβs got a lot of ruth.β
This language is just vibes and historical accidents.
Of all the fictional stories Iβve encountered on X, this one is the GOAT.

Higher prices donβt automatically mean higher profits.
If I sold 20 cartons of Indomie at β¦1,400 before, that was β¦28,000 in revenue. Today, at β¦9,400 per carton, the same 20 cartons bring β¦188,000.
But my purchase price, transport, fuel, rent and other costs have also increased.
The real question isnβt how much more naira I make, but what that profit can buy today compared with before.
Higher revenue β higher real profit.
They use numbers to decieve the dull. Increase in national reserve is just a facade, our profits are lesser now
βDonβt depend on your salary. Invest.β
Okay, but where does the money to invest come from?
Salary/Income.
So maximize those first. Build your earning power. Then you can invest.
Salary may not make you rich by itself, but a good income gives you the capital to startt.

It seems doctors are now so used to working toxic work hours that a regulated work hour looks impossible.
How it will be implemented as a doctor is not your business, leave that to the hospital management, there is room for locum doctors under contracts to fill in the gap.
What PMUS is giving us is option, the option to challenge a toxic work hour legally without fear of victimisation.
PMUS doesn't want doctor work hour to be under the mercies of their superior, he wants it to be guided by the law, such that the Nigeria doctor anywhere has a voice to negotiate work hour/request adequate compensation from their employers.
Left to me this is the best thing that can ever happen to residency training.
