Dear Shri Zubair, we have taken note of your point that many instances of duplicate entries can still be found in the electoral roll of UP even after SIR. We are well aware of that fact and are in midst of the work of removing the duplicate entries. A major political party has already submitted to us a list of such entries some days ago. They have claimed that the number of duplicate entries is in lakhs but we are sure that it would not be so since we have already covered much ground since end of SIR. We have also noted your other point of instances of individuals filing multiple forms-7 for deletion of other voters. This was also in our knowledge as the issue was prominently raised by parties during SIR in first half of February this year. We had done two press conferences only on this issue in the month of February itself. A news portal also brought it out again on 9th October before you posted about it. We had already clarified this issue before your post through a press release issued some days ago. You can check it out on our X handle.

Hello, Mr. Navdeep Rinwa @ceoup. Stop acting like a troll by threatening citizens who point out flaws in SIR.
The SIR exercise in Uttar Pradesh was completed and the final electoral rolls were published in April 2026. Yet duplicate entries remain unresolved. Wasn’t eliminating duplicate entries one of the central objectives of this entire exercise?
Also, do you understand sarcasm? “Buy one, get one free” was precisely that.
In your own tweet, you acknowledge issuing four voter ID cards with different EPIC numbers to one person. How did four applications in the same person’s name pass scrutiny and result in four separate voter IDs?
Submitting four Form6 applications is wrong. Accepting and processing those duplicate requests exposes an even bigger failure in verification. What is the point of SIR if your system cannot detect repeated applications from the same person? If someone applies for fresh enrolment ten times, will @ECISVEEP issue ten different voter IDs?
Further, according to the Form 9 records uploaded on your own UP CEO website, Mr. Sundar submitted Form 6 on January 6 and again on January 14. We have the data for that booth. These are your own official records. This data was uploaded on your own UP CEO website. Also Please upload all Form9s on your website. Many are still missing. Instead of threatening us, Please put more efforts on fixing the failures instead of threatening citizens who expose them.
There are many such cases, Let me share a few more examples here.

Wait. WHAT? 🤡
UP Election Commission just admitted:
👉 Duplicate voter entries still exist AFTER FRAUD SIR.
👉 Multiple Form-7 applications for voter deletions were already known to them.
And they're calling this a clarification?
Then what exactly did SIR achieve?
POONAM's task execution? 👀

It's quite funny come to think of it. Every single time the govt is caught with its pants down, a whole gaggle of columnists get to work, advising the Leader of the Opposition on what he shouldn't, or should, do! They have not a word of caution or criticism for the government, but are full of wisdom for the Opposition! And they have been doing it for a dozen years. 🧐
Give it a break!

Don’t put a halo on the government. It’s just a service provider that’s all. Do not mix up Government with Nation. Do not diminish the country by putting it at par with the govt or the PM. A regime change is a perfectly legal wish in whatever understanding you have of the term regime.
If by “ Regime” you mean govt, then it’s a very democratic wish of the people. The process is also simple. The people not happy will seek the change of the regime or the govt through exercise of the Freedoms granted under Article 19 of the Constitution of India, within the limits of the “reasonability” by law established. So @Cockroachisback or @INCIndia or the Gen Z are exercising that right. The government by banning the protest rather than regulating the sane has crossed the test of “ Reasonability”.
If by “Regime” the opposition understands it’s an authoritarian and brutal government which is no more following the Constitution and is in fact subverting it- for which there are sufficient prima facie evidences- it has every right to seek that regime’s resignation or removal ( within the limits of the constitution). The opposition and the Gen Z are exercising that right under the freedoms guaranteed through Article 19.
Mr Chidambaram's attempts at verbal sophistry are at once amusing and pathetic. Harvard has never published an English dictionary so we must draw his attention to Oxford, which publishes the most authoritative of English dictionaries, often with a deep dive into a word - or phrase’s etymology.
He's asking why anyone should question the phrase “regime change”. Well Oxford defines it as “defined as the replacement of one government or political system with another, particularly a complete change of government - often one brought about or influenced by force, military intervention, or external pressure from another country.” Rather an inconvenient qualification to leave out of your lecture! Unfortunately, verbal choreography cannot make inconvenient connotations disappear.
So pretending it carries no connotations of coercion, overthrow or intervention is an impressive exercise in selective reading.
Of course the Opposition has every right to defeat a government through elections. That proposition is so uncontroversial that dressing it up as a courageous constitutional discovery deserves its own applause track.
“Oppose, expose and depose” is catchy. Unfortunately, three rhyming verbs cannot do the work of an argument. A political slogan is not a dictionary amendment.
Say “win elections”. Say “secure a majority”. Say “replace this government through the ballot”. The English language offers ample options without requiring a subsequent clarification department.
Instead, choosing a loaded expression and then accuse those questioning it of “feigned rage”. How convenient but then this man has always been the slave to a convenient dynasty.
And lest we forget, it's the same man who was one of the proponents of the FAKE 'hindu terror' narrative to save terrorists. Therefore he is not entitled to an uncontested rewrite of political vocabulary.

Hello @ceoup, Here's one more example: A man's voter EPIC ID (As per draft roll) became a woman's voter ID in the final roll. Not just that, The same woman Rusha Devi got two more Voter IDs in her name. So Rusha Devi has 3 Voter idea after SIR final roll was published.
Summary : One man disappeared from the list and one woman appeared three times in Final SIR list.
