These lines are long because Ohio Republicans insisted on only one voting location, no matter the size of the county. @LawyersComm and I beat this on the dropbox issue after a federal trial, but a right-wing appeals-court panel took it away, disregarding trial fact-finding.

This is purposeful voter suppression by Ohio Statehouse Republicans
They passed a law allowing only ONE early vote location per county, no matter the county size or population. They knew this would create lines in places like Cbus, Cincinnati, & Cleveland, but not rural areas

Today, Haley Stevens endorsed Donald Trump’s most savage policies—the brutalizing of Hispanics, the killing of US citizens in American streets, the launching of endless wars, the gutting of Michigander’s health care, his war on civil rights, higher gas prices, more expensive groceries, less health care, and endless corruption. A vote for Mike Rogers is a vote for Donald Trump. End of story.

Haley Stevens' now-former chief, Justin German:
"As of this morning, many members of our team have resigned, including myself. We encourage everyone to exercise their civic duty, vote for Abdul and Democrats up and down the ballot, and stand up for the America we all believe in.

Really great statement
El-Sayed: At the end of the day, I actually don't think about Haley Stevens. Because you know what? I'm just less interested in the politics of it all than I am in the policy of it all…
If you are somebody who believes that we should stand up to hate, and you have watched this last campaign, I think we probably would not want to support Mike Rogers and Donald Trump and JD Vance. If you're somebody who believes that we need more health care, not less than you probably don't want to vote for the guy who voted to raise prescription drug prices or keep them high 19 times and takes money from big pharma and big insurance. If you're somebody who believes in public education, you probably do not want to support the guy who architected the initial legislation in 1999 that ended up stripping local control from Detroit public schools and the local community. If you're somebody who believes that you should have a right to a union, you probably don't want to support the guy who busts unions. So I'm just saying that the principles that we believe in as Democrats are really quite clear. I stand for all of them.

I'm sure that the people who get sent to torture prisons in El Salvador or get shot in the face by ICE or get killed in the war with Iran will understand that @HaleyforMI's hurt feelings were more important.

If your church is telling you to vote for a political party that protects pedophiles and serial rapists, find a new church.

JD Vance mocked Talarico for supposedly being gay and then decided his Halloween costume should be a gay wizard.

The woman asks how she is supposed to afford to live and Vance responds, “let me point out that I've only been asked about Jon Husted's ass once tonight.”
He is really, really bad at this.
Vance absolutely bombs a question from a young woman worried about affordability
Q: I'm the VP of TPUSA at Texas Christian University. I keep hearing from Republicans that I should get married and have children. But how can I own a home and raise a family right now when it's so expensive?
Vance: Thanks for your question. First, let me point out that I've only been asked about Jon Husted's ass once tonight.

Using Christ’s sacrifice as a slight against a political opponent followed directly by declaring he’ll get his ass kicked. Folks,
MAGA is not Christianity. It’s heresy. Taking the name of the Lord in vain is sport for these people. You cannot serve Christ and MAGA. Choose.

Pitch perfect response from Obama to this manufactured Cheesecake Factory outrage
OBAMA: The president wasn't even mad. About The Saddam Hussein comparison. That part didn't bother him. But he was very upset about The Cheesecake Factory. He took great umbrage. He said I didn't understand the work of the artisans in the White House.
They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke.

Guy whose mother-in-law is named Lakshmi Chilikuri pretending that Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan are too tough to pronounce.
Vance's "I'm just a good old boy"'s act grows more tiresome and less believable by the day.

Hi @JDVance what “attachment” to this land do your Indian immigrant in-laws Radhakrishna Chilukuri and Lakshmi Chilukuri have please? And do you say this racist stuff to their faces or just save it for mainly-white MAGA rallies?
Vance on El-Sayed: We have to understand what happens when our nation gives into these kinds of people with zero attachment to its land or to its history.
What we saw in France, the hatred, the ingratitude, the desire to destroy rather than a desire to build, that exact same cancer that has corrupted El-Sayed.
