I understand everybody just wants Martinez to move on from us now considering he’s flirted with joining every opposing club.

There’s certain moments in Watkins’ time here that probably foreshadowed this situation. Never seemed to celebrate others’ goals, put up a hissy fit when Rashford and Duran started before him. Incredibly low confidence player. Doesn’t seem like he played for the shirt. #avfc
I always thought I respected Watkins. But mainly because Emery made me feel like I should. He stood by him when his form was poor, and believed in him when nobody else did. What a kick in the teeth, I feel badly for Unai. Shameful. #avfc

One of the first times as well this season I’ve seen us change up tactics and formation with the 5 at the back and the balls over the top seemed to be working quite well. It was kinda weird seeing Spurs pretty much play against us with our usual tactics and structure. #avfc

I wouldn’t make this a norm all too much though. Our players seemed knackered chasing possession at large portions of the game, something we have been doing to teams consistently. #avfc

Unfortunate losing 4-0 at home after Villa Park being such a fortress for most of this season. Some crucial games coming up now & Ajax midweek is a must win. The top 4 race is going to become very tight now so we’ll have to look to figure out our priorities for this season. #AVFC

He gave unbelievable fouls to United yesterday particularly on Rashford on multiple occasions as well as taking his time to assess Kamara’s tackle realising it’s a foul because the United player is on the floor. #AVFC
Idk whether it’s the media that has done this or some weird ‘big 6’ obsession that has given fans the delusion that Darwin Nunez has more goals and assists in Premier League than Watkins this season. They can’t seem to get their head around it because of the arse licking. #AVFC
