WOW! This is incredible. Parents of the boy who was k*lled in Ohio by an immigrant SLAM Donald Trump for using their son’s name to spread hate. Good for them!!! 💙 "Chip Roy, JD Vance, and Donald Trump, they have spoken my son's name and use his de*th for political gain. They can vomit all the hate they want about illegal immigrants, the border crisis, and even untrue claims about fluffy pets being ravaged and eaten by community members. However, they are not allowed, nor have they ever been allowed to mention Aiden Clark from Springfield, Ohio."

BREAKING: Chris Wallace just completely demolished Donald Trump’s debate performance. Wallace went so far as to call Donald Trump’s debate performance tonight the worst debate performance in American history. Retweet to make sure all Americans see this.

I made a 7-minute video taking a behind-the-scenes peek at the industry side of things at the recent @HotDocs. Are things all gloom and doom? Maybe, but you wouldn’t know it. youtube.com/watch?v=2lbc56q8… @dwordcom @HotDocsIndustry @FullFrame @cphdox

Sad to see you leaving movie criticism @aoscott. As one of the few critics who understands that documentaries have directors, your reviews of my films meant the world to me. Wishing you all the best in the book section.

Bears repeating and repeating…
Teaching children about ideas you may disagree with isn’t indoctrination. Teaching children only about ideas you agree with, that’s the very definition of indoctrination.

I’ll be there virtually, for sure.
Anyone interested in tools for thought -- this is looking like a killer lineup, including the legendary @hrheingold who literally wrote the book on the subject. (I'm going to try to join as well.) betaworks.com/event/render-t…

Totally agree. But as I told a filmmaker friend, at least it levels the playing field a bit as buyers and press can see more films, and under the same conditions.
Big sigh. Was so looking forward to attending Sundance on the buyer side of things for the first time. My heart hurts for the filmmakers, publicists, press, viewers and especially the staff. I’m sure the online version will still be stellar. But, 😔

If you love cinema, like I do, you’ll love this film, like I do.
"A beautifully structured tale of movie love. “Searching for Mr. Rugoff” is both dramatic and enlightening, a moving document of an American life that has a bit of “Citizen Kane” to it."  --Godfrey Cheshire, RogerEbert.com rogerebert.com/reviews/searc…
