Tonight’s @justiceconfUK evening with @OpenDoorsUK and @CSW_UK was very genuinely amazing. While listening and learning from Mojtaba and Ming, I found myself lost for words (not ideal for the host!). Off now to dwell and read more.
Very kind gift from @brianheasley. Found myself reading it all in a day today(!) Looking forward to dipping back in to muse and ponder the richness of this book. @247prayer

Dear COP Leaders,
Any of you Superman Comic book fans? Me too!
Tonight I read this to my oldest child and realised an uncanny similarity to what you are hearing from indigenous community leaders, nations all over the world, young people speaking up for their future.
… (1/4)
… We don’t need a comic book to remind us of the situation of planet Earth. But isn’t it interesting that a kids book seems to be able to articulate the corruption of power and silencing of people so well!

In these final days of COP we are still speaking up, challenging injustice and praying that you will do the right thing. The best thing you can for all of humanity. Please listen and act. The time is now.

… Do you want to know what happens on page 8 of the comic? They ignore the voices of wisdom and research. Instead they choose to bury their heads in the sand. They said to Jor-El (aka SuperDad) “if you care for safety then keep silent”.

We're thrilled as a church to partner with @Tearfund and it was so good to have @Dot_Tyler - Tearfund's National Youth Director and also the Co-Director of @justiceconfUK - as our guest speaker yesterday. Be sure to check out her excellent message on #ClimateJustice 📺🎧
Yay!!! 💚💚💚
Who's coming to the National Youth Ministry Weekend? Have you planned which seminars you're going to attend yet? You can check out our full programme here: 📝ow.ly/GC2350GzpSP

Couldn’t agree more!
Great to spend time talking and praying with young climate activists at @lambethpalace today ahead of #COP26. Thanks @Tearfund, @christian_aid and @YCCNetwork for bringing us together. Let’s pray for us all to share the same passion for loving God, our neighbour and our world.
Just in awe of the amazing young generation we’re hearing from today @lambethpalace. Genuine challenge and hopeful inspiration to act NOW on the climate crisis.
Deeply moved by the words of @JustinWelby. The climate crisis is “an existential crisis for the world, not just for a few, for the word”. @WeAreTearfund
Today Today Today!!!! Can’t wait!!
Today the next generation will be asking influential leaders including COP26 President @AlokSharma_RDG and Archbishop @JustinWelby questions about climate change. In partnership with @TheCAcollective and @YCCNetwork .
