C# and the framework are basically one - for better/worse. Idisposable, ienunerator, tasks are all part of framework and core to c#. Also the point extends to the language. Keep 1 version of switch, drop at least 1 way of doing delegates. Simplify based on what is latest.

This is exactly part of my rant from a couple weeks ago. The complexity nonsense in .NET ecosystem is sometimes off the charts. It’s infused from a lot of people, courses, “best practices”.
I felt free as a programmer again leaving some of these behind.
Your .net code does not need 15 projects with a class per command and query. You don’t need an interface for everything either. It’s amazing to read extremely simple samples using .net vs node vs go. It seems our ecosystem is attracted to complexity... #dotnet
