Imagine a computer that you switch on, and it boots up near instantly, and you can just get on and do what you want without tending to its needs.
Strange thing is, smartphones seem to have achieved this.
Replying to @ArrivaKent
@ArrivaKent 2 buses drove past Rochester Horsted Way not stopping for 2 families. Buses not close to full. No sign of stop not in use. What gives?
Freezing cold weather and the driver just drives by. Several kids freezing. Next bus 10 minutes later stopped there no problem. Answer?

Decided to try to write something that’s not quite toy-level in @golang. This interface stuff seems evil, am i right?

25 years ago I bought my first 3D accelerator to play this game - the 4Mb 3Dfx Voodoo. Still have hope for Half life 3 before I die!
Half-Life turns 25 this weekend, and we're pushing a big update to bring back some of that 1998 feeling with restored original launch day content, brand new multiplayer maps, a look behind the scenes with the original development team, and more: half-life.com/halflife25

So annoying @VodafoneUK offering only 55mbps compared to Every Single Competitor offering 900. Hey ho, time to go!
Dear @VodafoneUK, I _really_ want Full Fibre and I'm already a customer with you, but you seem to be the only provider in the area not offering it. Please don't make me sign up with @bt_uk
Hey @VodafoneUK - @WeAreOpenreach says I can get 1gb internet, but your site says only 65mb. Please can I order the good stuff?
