Every new day presents new opportunities. How you see it is what you get from it. Let's keep our eyes on the prize. And wrap up the year in appreciation rather than shambles.
Good morning Uganda 🇺🇬
Good good morning Uganda 😄
Here's to a beautiful and fruitful week ahead. May the almighty see us through
Amen
Uganda is being well represented in the various states of Australia for 10 days. We're discovering opportunities in trade, education, tourism & other aspects
Glad to have sent a team from @ugwildlife to position our Conservation efforts as well. Accompanied by @TourismBoardUg

Today, unidentified community members blocked the road in Wanale to prevent @ugwildlife and other security personnel from attending a meeting with Mbale district leaders to discuss issues relating to the boundary of Mt Elgon National Park.
Not nice!

I don't know what to say. Because I have just seen this video. But it's too good to not post. So let's watch 😂
I wonder how I got this confident on camera. My family was just as shocked 😅
Congrats to the team that represented us so well in Italy. During the 3 days TTG Travel Experience Expo.
Journey mercies back home 🙏
Dear @X

Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulsamad
The engagement with the Guest of Honour at the summit was particularly meaningful. He is a former Ambassador of Zanzibar to Russia and a prominent businessman with a strong connection to Uganda.
Including his involvement in the East African Crude Oil Project in Hoima. He was very interested in what we were doing and strongly encouraged the idea of strengthening Uganda–Zanzibar relations.
He shared his own experiences in Uganda, including his engagements with the country’s leadership, and pledged to remain available and respond to our calls and messages as we pursue the partnership.
Another important connection was Ahlam, who was born in Tanzania, currently resides in China, and has a Ugandan father. But has never been here.
That Ugandan-Tanzanian connection immediately made our conversation interesting. She will be traveling soon and I ptomised to take her around.
She is also in the process of developing a women-driven tourism association and serves as an advisor with UNFPA. We connected particularly around our shared interest in women’s empowerment
And beyond the professional conversation, we had the opportunity to simply sit down as young women and talk about life, our journeys and what we are trying to build. From the conversation, I realised she's a very smart woman who has gone out of her way to the unimaginable!

We made destination marketing experiential at Magical Kenya. Bringing the REAL Uganda to life through our cultures, cuisines, people, and authentic experiences.
And this is just the beginning! We’re taking this energy to expos across the world, giving Uganda the visibility it deserves.
Our goal? To have every corner of the internet buzzing with Uganda content until the world can’t help but #ExploreUganda the Pearl of Africa.

We were today delighted to host Hon. Susan Nakawuki Nsambu, State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, for her maiden visit at Uganda Tourism Board office. The team had the opportunity to engage with her on the strategies and shared ambition for driving Uganda’s tourism agenda. Under the NDP IV tourism is ear marked as a key driver of economic growth, foreign exchange earner, employment creator that will ignite private sector investment.

Fatma Ali Mohamed - CEO of Zanzibar Association of Tourism Investors (ZATI)
The association is the only one that sits on the @UN Board in Africa. And they have a task to connect tourism businesses and associations across Africa. The conversation revealed that there had already been attempts to reach tourism associations in Uganda without response.
This created an opportunity for me to help bridge that connection. We also discussed the wider Uganda-Zanzibar partnership, including AFCON-related opportunities, and she expressed willingness to support the process.

Madam Alyaan - CEO of Zanzibar Association of Tour Operators (ZATO)
We discussed practical areas of cooperation between Uganda and Zanzibar. Our conversation covered possible fam trips, AFCON-related collaboration, joint events, youth empowerment and training.
There was a strong sense of openness towards exploring how tourism operators from both destinations could work together and create opportunities beyond simply promoting one another’s destinations.
I gifted her with many posters of our wildlife, that I received from @ugwildlife. She loved all of them and promised to give them out to other tour operators.
