The “nearly 50%” claim is misleading: 43% refers to replies on specific posts, not the entire backlash. Posting the same comment across 3 posts doesn't prove an account is a bot; users may use alternate accounts for privacy. Repetition alone isn't proof of inauthenticity.

If it doesn't matter, then take it out of the fucking game. If it makes no difference in my life, then why is it there? We know the answer to that - because the devs are making a statement. This has no place in video games, and these Coalition bozos DESERVE IT if they get canned.

This is kind of fascinating. Forbes is ranked as "biased" and "not trusted" because we rank games too...high, I guess? (I didn't write the vast majority of reviews tracked).
It may be useful to gauge critic scores against user scores (though again, there's certainly an industry review bombing problem), though disagreements being labeled "biased" or "untrustworthy" ironically seem like a very biased way to frame this
