The lifecycle of governments clostly approximates the lifecycle of a star.
I've described ths several times over the years, to several people. It was originally a story I conceived that described the lifecycle of a company, but realized quickly that it applies to nearly any organization, and most especially government.
I thought to write it up for sharing so others can see what I see, but just now decided to ask grok to do it for me.
Grok nails it. I'm impressed.
Text in the next post in case the grok link is paywalled.

A ton of work today. Pre-production testing can be a pain in the ass.
But I'm at the gym.
Still working, tho. I'm managing my grok @bot on my phone and the testing is going well.
In the last month, Amazon's insistence on blocking @bot has caused me to send more purchases through other paths.
Add in the simplicity of saying "find me this thing for the best price and buy it" and it just happening, the convenience factor Amazon once had is gone.
Subscribe and Save? Nah - @bot, buy this for me ever 3 weeks at the best price.
Done.
Grok @bot and similar products are going to be the new default way of interacting with the internet. They're going to take over literally every aspect of it.
Email? yes
Shopping? yes
Search? Yes
News? Yes
And they're sticky AF.
Possible exception - gaming. Porn? To easy to make your own.
One of these years maybe I'll stop making the mistake of thinking that Home Depot or Lowes will have all the parts and tools I need to complete a project.
0 times have they had what I need.
I'm not creating anything complex here. Today I just need a 3/4 copper female adapter.

🚨🚨🚨🚨My guide to voting on the judges in Arizona has just been updated to include Arizona Court of Appeals justices and the one Arizona Supreme Court justice up for election. LOTS of election fraud deniers to vote out! It's super disappointing to see how many were appointed by Ducey; while Ducey was a great governor in many ways, he also had his flaws and appointing RINO judges was one of them.
If my former boss, Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas, had won the gubernatorial race instead of Ducey in 2014, we'd be in great shape with judges. But nope, back then when Sheriff Joe Arpaio had massive influence, he endorsed Ducey after promising Andy he would stay neutral - that sealed the deal for Ducey.
Will do the smaller county superior court judges next - can get to tomorrow.

SIXTEEN WEEKS TO BUILD QUALITY LEAN MASS TOGETHER
If you are over 20% body fat, or can’t get there by November 15, and don’t already know your way around the gym and a macro plan without someone holding your hand, this post is not for you.
For everyone else:
I am organizing a very small, tightly run group to start November 15th, and I will be working with each member both as part of the whole and one on one.
Our goal is to accumulate as much quality lean mass as possible over 16 weeks, reduce or maintain body fat, improve our work output dramatically, and support our VO2 max along the way.
The run goes from November 15th through March 7th.
This will be high accountability, to yourself and to the group as a whole, and we will all be doing it together day by day.
We are going to do it safely and sanely, though we are going to push some envelopes. The gear and the programming will be specific to each member because there is nothing close to a one size fits all when it comes to this.
The one uniting goal is the safe and effective accumulation of exceptional quality lean mass.
Ideally you come in under 15% body fat, though I will consider members all the way up to 20%. Your starting body fat sets your ceiling for the entire 16 weeks. Men who start at 14% or below will not go past 14%. Men who start higher will not go past where they started, and nobody in this group will exceed 20% at any point. We do not anticipate much fat gain, but the leaner men have room to add a little on a program like this, and that is the margin they get to work with. For a man starting near 20%, this will look far more like a pure recomposition than a bulk.
The prerequisites are not optional. Admission requires proof of preparation:
An average of at least 30 miles per week of low intensity steady state walking, which is about 7.5 hours a week at a 15 minute mile, or an equivalent amount of low intensity steady state work.
Five days a week in the gym on your current program, consistently and without fail, starting no later than October 15th.
You also need a working knowledge of nutrition basics, macro timing, and recovery protocols.
Slots will be extremely limited.
I have not settled on a final number, but the group will never be bigger than what lets every member have a place to participate.
I have been thinking about this for most of the summer and wanted to get the word out early.
More next week.
You don't need to be an excellent cook to have excellent food at home.
Get some recipes. Use them as what they are - guidance.
Then use your taste buds to dial it in.
Learn. It's not hard. Soon you'll go out to eat and think "I make this better at home..."

Nothing outside of home is even very good anymore. Convenient, but not near as good.
Maybe if Claude didn't act like Einstein on a Ketamine drip we'd be less inclined to speak harshly to him.
Yesterday:
Claude: "I'm sorry, I can't work with google sheets....."
Me: "Then how the *#$@ did you create this one right here??"
Claude: "Oh, you're right. I can work with google sheets."

When hiring in start ups we would use the usual sources for job posting. We would be innundated with applicanta from India, regardless of citizenship and location status filters we set.
The perception that there are no American workers is false. The market is being intentionally flooded with foreigners to the point where the Americans applying are needles in the haystack of crap we have to sift through to find them.
Vice President JD Vance breaks down the data:
"If you are working as an H-1B visa in the United States of America, you’re earning $20,000 less than an American citizen hired in the same position. If you were brought in by one of these foreign outsourcing firms, you’re making $48,000 less than an American citizen in a similar position. So I’m sure that everybody here understands the game that is being played. You bring in indentured servants from outside the country, you lay off American workers and, if you’re a corporation, you make a ton of money by under cutting the wages of American workers, replacing them with people who frankly shouldn’t be in the United States of America to begin with."
