There is only one answer that holds up before the throne of God: because Jesus Christ shed His blood for my sins, I repented and surrendered my life to Him as my Lord, and by His grace I walk as His disciple. Jesus Himself warned us in Matthew 7:21 that not everyone who says to Him, "Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of His Father.
