“Because the man on the middle cross said I could come” might forever be my favorite answer to that question.
Honestly, I think about this moment often. There is nothing that could or would say. As I envision this heavy moment, I would weep and simply bow down at His feet in tears and completely broken knowing my unworthiness. I would wash His feet in my tears if He would allow it and give myself over to His mercy.
The only confidence in life I have is in His faithfulness. He never made a promise that was broken. My life hasn’t been perfect. I’ve had my own struggles. And, I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for never abandoning me. He kept His promises. Everyone.
Because Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for my sins, and although I tried to be like him I failed miserably but know he loves me because I love him and know he took that punishment for me. 🙌❤️ #JesusSaves
Ooh, that would be a frightening question.
If I were even able to speak, I’d have to say “You shouldn’t, I’m a sinner and have taken Your Son’s gift for granted countless times. But Christ said that His sacrifice has covered my sins, and I have accepted Him as my Lord and Savior, and trust in His Word.”
