Over the last month folks have been asking me if there are grief support groups for Black men who have lost their wives during childbirth. 😞
I haven’t found any, and our team is at capacity, but I hope someone applies to our most recent grants to do this. We need it badly.

On this day in 1944, the #GIBill was signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It helped millions of WWII vets start new lives back home.
But systemic racism & segregation meant that Black veterans did not benefit equally. This caused setbacks for generations to come.
I don’t see a future where I will be without a mask in the airport or on an airplane. The open mouth, uncovered coughing that still occurs shocks me every time. #coveryourmouth 😩
