This is the concern I have with Silent Hill remake. Bloober no doubt knocked it out of the park with SH2, it's a completely different ballpark than SH1. They are going to have to get way weirder, otherwordly, grimey, & unconventional. Feel like Tango could have pulled it off.
Silent Hill (1999) director Keiichiro Toyama believes a SH1 remake would be harder to pull off than Resident Evil.
His approach would be to "make it different to games nowadays" and "what I've done before" because "Otherwise I wouldn't understand why I'm even doing it."

A moderator on R/BlackWidow banned me because I argued their reasons for marking my art as NSFW was invalid. “You drew her naked” “Her boobs and hips are too big” “Well the AI flagged it first and I agree with it” I referenced a comic panel posted in the sub that wasn’t NSFW.
