Here's my conversation with Pieter Levels (@levelsio), self-taught developer and entrepreneur who designed, programmed, shipped, and ran over 40 startups, many of which are hugely successful. In most cases, he did it all by himself, while living the digital nomad life in over 40 countries and over 150 cities. This was a fun and inspiring conversation!
It's here on X in full, and is up on YouTube, Spotify, and everywhere else. Links in comment.

This was a cool listen. I think Cloud+AI is increasingly making the @levelsio -style model of a scrappy solo serial micro-entrepreneur viable, allowing one person to spin up and run a number of companies that generate income, possibly well into billion-dollar valuations.

Remembering the great Django Reinhardt who was born on this day in 1910. Reinhardt is regarded as one of the greatest guitar players of all time, and the first important European jazz musician to make a major contribution with jazz guitar.
Perhaps his most lasting influence on jazz was the introduction of solos based on melodic improvisation, at a time when guitarists generally played chorded solos. His inimitable improvisations, particularly those in slow tempos, were often a curious but beguiling blend of Roma and jazz sounds. For most of his career Reinhardt played in the swing style that reached its peak of popularity in the 1930s.
Here, Reinhardt and his band are performing in a train car. Taken from a 1953 French-Italian comedy called “La Route du Bonheur”, this clip is one of the few known footages of Django.
