@BBCMorningLive sadly your segment on digital phone migration was heavily flawed and just plain wrong.
Old devices (V1) such as the one shown just don’t work! Newer (V3) work for a max 30-45 minutes no good in a powerboat lasting more than that which most do!
And the only way to do that is have powered land lines or hubs that include suitable backup power with no interaction required by the end user.
@BBCMorningLive I know of several local people that were left weekends without help some of which sadly died slow painful deaths because help COULD NOT BE SUMMONED!
