Glad to be part of this groundbreaking study that attempts a non invasive model of cardiac transcriptomic sampling, highlighting the different profiles of HFpEF and HFrEF. @CircAHA @SaumyaDas_Lab
How can one non-invasively sample the transcriptome of organs like the heart. Our study now published in @CircAHA shows the mapping of differentially expressed transcripts in HFpEF and HFrEF mapping to different cardiac cell-types. ahajournals.org/eprint/KAIQX…

Our new study in collaboration with Abbott showcases the potential of adding plasma miRNA biomarkers to traditional protein biomarkers. Effect sizes still small, but point to interesting pathways. doi.org/10.1002/ehf2.14649
