The worst part of birthdays is all the lovely emails you receive from webshops.
They always have a gift for you: a discount code...
I guess they didn't get the memo, that a discount code is NOT A FUCKING GIFT!
Imagine receiving a gift that requires to spend money 🙄
That's also why discount codes aren't allowed in the gift pile on indiexmas.com.
Free or gtfo.

The EU's "Chat Control" proposal is horrifying. There's no way to implement this safely. It will destroy private communications online entirely.
If you're in the EU, please fight this.

I really want someone to build this.
Claude code is the wrong direction. I want a local solution that’s ABOVE the editor (browser) not BELOW (CLI)

My story:
Learned to code at 17 when creating my first startup alongside my two friends @Jon_Hilmar_K and @ViktorThulin
Tried a lot, failed a lot, but one side-project always stuck with me
That side project turned into noona.app, a business platform and marketplace with thousands of B2B customers all over the world
Raised €3m in two seed rounds and acquired another software biz, leading to a 8-figure licensing deal with Iceland's largest Telco
In that deal, we sold off a big chunk of our revenue base, so we're back at ~€100k MRR but I've never been more excited and optimistic: the world is our playground and the AI-revolution has unlocked a galaxy of opportunities for Noona and beyond
This year I'll turn 30 – and after reflecting on my twenties, I'm motivated to make some big changes.
Most importantly, I'm opening myself up
I spent my twenties being an introverted builder and systems-designer, focused on learning and too often insecure about my thoughts and ideas. I thought way too much about what other people think of me, as is sadly often the Icelandic way.
Those days are over. Now I want to connect, engage, share and learn by doing, building and failing in the open. I want to get to know people all over the world and help shape the trajectory of our collective consciousness at this critical moment in history we find ourselves living through.
I loved my twenties and I'm super grateful for my status quo, but I can't wait to see the surprises and collisions that a decade spent in the open will bring!
Feel free to join the journey by hitting that follow button - I'm here to stay and looking to connect and engage deeply 🚀
