Most of Europe will receive much-needed rainfall over the next week. 😍🌧️☔️ In the areas highlighted in red, up to 50-100 mm of rain could fall within a week. While we have fresher air to start the week the weather models show the air mass over much of Western Europe will go from below average to back above average pretty quickly. Heat is likely to start building back in by the weekend and into early next week. How hot it will get is unclear yet but we could see mid to high twenties in Ireland again. Spain and Portugal over 40c is possible in parts again this week.

Extrapolating recent trends, 🇮🇹 will soon become the highest public debt economy in 🇪🇺 (its rightful place). 🇬🇷 is on track to have its debt-to-GDP ratio below 100% by the end of this decade (ie lower than all G7 economies apart from 🇩🇪).
