I wouldn't fancy wiring this connector up😱! Inside the Hirose connector of the 100 way #Quantel Dylan cable that connects your Quantel Editbox, Henry or Hal to it's Dylan disk array.

Some amazing work here from @StudioPaeper recreating the iconic BBC 'CoW' ident from the 1980s on my #Quantel HAL Express (from 1995).

Last night we managed to get my 5D Monster Masher working on my #Quantel HAL Express, now i have access to all the 5D and Sapphire plug-in effects for Quantel. The Masher itself is a Dual Pentium 2 WindowsNT 6U rack PC.

Recording a clip of uncompressed SDI video onto a #Quantel HAL and Dylan disk array from 1995 (with 20 @zuluscsi solid state disks). HAL was launched in 1993 and turned into a post-production tool for making moving TV graphics, compositing and effects throughout the 1990s.

20 ZuluSCSI RP2040 disk emulators ready to be installed into my #Quantel Dylan video disk array. Fingers crossed this means i can get my Quantel HAL running for full video compositing and effects.😍

Well things didn't quite go according to plan, but we are working on it! More to come....

It's taken a few years to get to this point. Converting a #Quantel Dylan disk array to solid state so i can use my Quantel HAL. It _ONLY_ requires 20 SCSI disk emulators, 20 SD cards, 20 brackets... Etc 🤣🫣. Hopefully a video coming soon too!

I have three of these HD video camera modules after i started a futile project. They are LeadCCTV PE1005S modules all brand new. They are free to anyone who wants them.

Wow this Schaffner mains filter died so hard the case was swollen so much it wouldn't fit through the panel cutout, i had to hack it to bits to take it out backwards!🤬😠

A good friend spent quite a few hours making this awesome new bumper for my YouTube videos. Made on their vintage #Quantel HAL Express which is pretty much 30 years old. The modern aspect is the music and the video upscale which are both AI. Thank you @StudioPaeper !😍

A very kind person just donated this slightly broken #Quantel V-Series Presenter Panel. Used on the Quantel Picturebox for live playout of stills. It uses the gorgeous HDSP-2000 LED matrix displays 😍. Does anyone remember using one?
