BREAKING: H.E. Atiku Abubakar has unveiled his 12-point policy commitments for the 2027 presidential election, outlining his plans to Rescue, Revive and Restore Nigeria. 1. Restore targeted petroleum subsidies to reduce transportation costs and the rising cost of living. 2. Review NELFUND and consider debt forgiveness, based on the principle that Nigerian students deserve scholarships and affordable access to education, not crippling debt. 3. Implement the Supreme Court judgment on Local Government autonomy, ensuring funds due to local councils reach them directly and are used for grassroots development. 4. Revive and develop the Eastern maritime port corridor by restoring the operational capacity and competitiveness of the ports in Port Harcourt, Calabar and Warri, while advancing the development of the Uyo Deep Sea Port. 5. Reopen Nigeria’s land borders to revive legal cross-border businesses, support legitimate traders and facilitate regional commerce. 6. Review the electricity sector and reform the current tariff classification structure to end discriminatory billing and make electricity more affordable. 7. Empower young people and women through a proposed $10 billion startup and entrepreneurship financing programme, alongside greater inclusion in government appointments and economic opportunities. 8. Strengthen national security by recruiting additional personnel, improving their welfare, combating corruption within the security architecture, deploying modern intelligence and field technology, and deepening cooperation with neighbouring countries. 9. Return Nigerians to their farms by improving security and reducing production costs, while revitalising agriculture and expanding access to finance and other support for farmers and entrepreneurs. 10. Overhaul the healthcare sector through institutional reforms, expanding access to quality and affordable basic healthcare while addressing shortages, remuneration and the welfare of healthcare professionals. 11. Devolve powers to subnational governments by restructuring the Exclusive and Concurrent Legislative Lists, giving states and local governments greater responsibility and capacity, while creating a lean, efficient Federal Government focused on matters requiring national coordination. 12. Implement the Oronsaye Report to eliminate waste, duplication and institutional overlap, reduce opportunities for corruption, rationalise government agencies and improve efficiency, performance and service delivery. Vote @atiku Abubakar (ADC) Rescue! Revive!! Restore!!! 𝘼 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨. 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚. 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.

Yesterday, I was a guest at @therealmediaNG where I lend my voice to the ordeals and travails of the former Governor of Kaduna state and a chieftain of the @ADCNig , @elrufai It is worthy of note that the ADC is not opposed to holding public officers to account but what we vehemently kick against is the selective cases of fighting corruption and the use of state institutions to incarcerate and persecute political opponents of Bola Tinubu as it is in the case of Mal. Nasir El-Rufai .

Atiku wants to open the borders for business. Ensure strict and legal compliance with ECOWAS protocol on free flow of goods and services. But am most excited about his promise to reopen the Southern Ports. This will decongest the Lagos ports that Tinubu is choking. It will also reduce traffic in Lagos and diversify trade to other states. Atiku will also build more ports in Nigeria. The Abia state govt has the capacity and willingness to build a seaport in Abia state. The license and incentive will be readily released to them. Again, a port must be in Baro, Niger state, Onitsha, Anambra state and Gelegele in Edo state. H.E Atiku Abubakar is prepared for leadership. Vote Atiku Abubakar for president 2027 for a; STRONG ECONOMY, UNITED, PROSPEROUS and SECURED NATION. We are THE SUBSIDISERS MOVEMENT.

Tinubu removed subsidy. Mandated poor Nigerians to pay higher prices for fuel. He used the money to buy yacht , New airbus, and premium state of the art cardilac. Extended some of the monies to his Lebanese friend. Gave some to governors. But Bayo, Dare and Bwala said it’s okay for Nigerian to continue to suffer the burden of paying for high cost of PMS to fund their useless lifestyles. Even Satan no do reach this one before God chase am from heaven

Even the NELFUND is a big fraud. According to Taiwo-the tax specialist; he publicly said about 1.5m Nigerian students benefit from the NELFUND scheme. Check NUC total number of students in the university, almost 2m. What that means is that 1 out of very 2 versity students benefits from this scheme. Pls, ask around your neighborhood, who and who is a beneficiary of this scheme ? 😂
Apart from NELFUND, what are the benefits of fuel subsidy removal?

One reason debates like this will keep coming up is because passing information alone isn't enough. People need to consistently see what's happening on the ground. There isn't enough visual documentation of the different sections of the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and other major infrastructure projects on existing highways across the country. Independent creators like @Just_Ozed , @TayoAmele1 and myself have spent our own money travelling thousands of kilometres, filming and documenting these projects. Imagine if there were weekly, independent visual updates from Ogun, Ondo, Akwa Ibom and Cross River, alongside updates on ongoing highway reconstruction and bridge projects nationwide. There would be far less room for speculation and misinformation. Ironically, this is exactly the kind of work the Presidency's media aides should have considered supporting through independent creators. Instead, many of them will wait until you've done the hard work, then expect to use your footage for publicity without any form of compensation or even proper attribution. I'll continue documenting what I can, wherever I can gain access.
Nigeria Cannot Afford the Lagos-Calabar Highway; I Don’t Think the Road Will Go Beyond Epe – Duke There is already a road from Lagos to Calabar; if the road is poor, fix it. There are some expenditures we make that do not reflect the realities of our circumstances. The amount spent on that road could be better spent providing electricity or upgrading the healthcare system. Donald Duke, Presidential Candidate, People’s Redemption Party

This perspective is actually only partially true. During my first 2-3 years in the university, I studied relentlessly from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, a grueling 12 hours every single day(with minimal breaks especially for tests and exams), and I would have easily done more, but our school library was only open for that small operational window. I devoured Soviet textbooks from Mir Publishers, classical Cambridge treatises in calculus, advanced analysis, differential equations and also French books on abstract algebra. But even with all of this deep, rigorous, and exhausting study, I still painfully struggled with non-standard problems in advanced mathematics, and I had absolutely no practical idea how to formulate, execute or publish my own independent mathematical research. Still, I stubbornly continued to study, constantly buying hard copies and downloading PDFs. I deeply understood the fundamental principles, the foundational axioms, and could effortlessly replicate complex proofs on a blackboard. But the very moment it came to actually carrying out my own independent research, or tackling novel problems, I would completely freeze. It was as if my brain completely stopped thinking the second I dropped the books. So, for this exact reason, I made a drastic decision(during my third year): I completely stopped reading. I picked out a very difficult mathematical problem, and made a solemn vow to myself never to open a single textbook until I found the solution entirely on my own. I deleted all social media apps from my phone, disconnected my Wi-Fi, and turned off my internet connection completely. After two solid days of intense research, I emerged not only with the complete solution to that specific problem, but I also derived a detailed, generalized mathematical blueprint for solving that entire class of problems. This was the exact, transformative moment I realized what had been critically missing from my study routine all along. I had never taken the necessary time to engage in deep, independent thinking, to truly digest, internalize, and synthesize what I had learned. Instead, I had been mindlessly, passively, and uncritically accumulating raw knowledge strictly for knowledge's sake. Textbooks and academic treatises should only ever be viewed as basic guides, structural maps, or starting points, and never as a substitute for raw, independent, and creative human thinking. Now, I regularly go out for long walks, often staying outside for up to five hours at a time, pacing around the compound to think. Walking, pacing, and solitary contemplation are precisely how I do advanced mathematics, conceptualize systems, and draft my essays. Extensive, rigorous, and disciplined reading is essential, but it must unconditionally be accompanied by deep, original, and active thinking outside the books. This is the single most vital piece of advice I desperately wish someone had given me when I was younger.

I have spent eight years of my life in a federal university. My first school fee was ₦35k. I could fill my 6kg gas cylinder with ₦2k, and ₦10k was enough to cover my monthly stipend. I am Muhammad's daughter—Dangote doesn't even hold a candle to the man who raised me.
Sorry o, Mrs. Dangote.

Legacy automakers have 5 year dev cycle.. Chinese do all that in 1. They prioritise volume and flooding the market first then send OTA updates to fix whatever issues they cars have. Our car dealers cartel are scared of change for whatever reason.. Who fucking cares sha 🤷🏾‍♂️ – at Tudun Wada, Nigeria
If you sell used cars, be careful - the next few years will be rough for you, and you may not have a business by the time the wave that is coming is done: The reason is because the Chinese have set their eyes on Africa, and when they move - it is usually aggresive price cut that favors volume over margins. Which means they will sell better and more recent cars at a cheaper price and at first you will laugh at them; but they will win. It is how people laughed at Opay at first (a bank with no branch) but now Opay is used by almost everyone. ...but car is not like the banking sector, a cheaper car & better car will FORCE everyone else out. Wait till they are done countering all the lies about parts and engine not being strong; once they enter a market - they find the biggest objections and they get to work towards countering it. That work has started. Goodluck everyone.
