What solutions do others use out there? We're hoping for something simple that we could wrap into a custom package for distribution, and maybe create content around that solution as many people want to know how to add a paywall to their own platform as well.

We've thought deeply about donations - which should be 100% optional, and we'd never ask for them outright. We originally went with a @PayPal solution, however, after some big customer service issues, we've changed our minds on that integration and are looking for other services.

We're also building a centralized platform to better link the content that is being produced - all of it will be free and minimal/no ads on videos. YouTube videos with linked blogs, tooling and package suggestions, everything necessary to go to the next step after tutorials.

Not that I know these friends 😅, but my standard pattern is to mark the required ones.

We aren't going away any time soon! Getting a few different videos finished up as we speak, expanding the content beyond just React.

We made the title much easier to read on the YouTube video! Sometimes I forget that I don't work in marketing anymore, and I need to make things as easy as possible. #programming #javascript #reactjs youtube.com/watch?v=SBWQLwqT…

What's your favorite video on DevTips? When I first subscribed to this channel that I now upload on, I was studying to go to med school, instead, I found that I loved web design and Travis had coincidentally started giving some great videos about HTML5: youtube.com/watch?v=NzzGt7Em…

Running with this thought - what sorts of projects? Websites, applications, libraries, etc. This is a really good idea that could go way beyond Twitch, and seems like a better fit for "Dev Tips" overall since they're tips.

I've been thinking about doing some streaming on Twitch. Any ideas on what I should focus on for that? I always found that it was hard to keep engagement up on a stream that is primarily focused on programming.

Thank you all for the feedback on the last video!! I'm expecting a new cardiod mic, a capture card, and an audio interface to arrive this week, and then everyone can expect a large uptick in higher quality video production / publishing on the YouTube channel.

So for instance, if I'm doing a React tutorial or something similar, then a focus on the code, and a clear and concise voice is preferred?
