Basis trading, leverage and restaking can create additional return.
They can also introduce multiple layers of market, liquidation, counterparty and integration risk.
The Fed raised rates by 25 bps. That raises the bar for onchain yield.
A higher APY isn’t enough.
If a strategy adds smart contract, liquidity or counterparty risk, users should see exactly what they’re being paid for.
Transparency is part of the return.
