Contributing to the @scotgov draft #BSLNationalPlan 2023-2029 was one of the worst and poorest consultations for #BSLUsers in #Scotland.
During the summer months, nine weeks is bad and limits #BSL users’ engagement and participation.

Many are still frustrated with the lack of connection and hardly any engagement and participation, communication or collaboration from the Scottish Government over the last few years.
The Scottish Government are accountable to the people of Scotland, including BSL users. 13/14
I urge Minister @JennyGilruth to consider extending the deadline to Saturday 30 September 2023.
For us to gather more responses and to get it right.
Together, we can make Scotland the best place in the world for BSL users to live, work, visit and learn.
