Thanks a lot Stuart. We had a really hard time publishing this work, which has been going on for 3 years with various obstacles, and finally succeeded after a very professional review processs at JEM.
Our new paper by Császár, Lénárt et al., is out in @JExpMed showing that #microglia modulate cerebral blood flow, neurovascular coupling and adaptation to hypoperfusion via dynamic, purinergic actions in the #NVU.

New paper out in @PLOSBiology elaborating on the importance of the NKCC1 transporter in microglial physiology and inflammatory responses. Central vs systemic blockade of NKCC1 with bumetanide have opposite effects. Great team effort led by @KrisztinaTth6

New paper out: we show that microbial short-chain fatty acids improve neuroplasticity and functional recovery after stroke. Effect is mediated by brain-invading T cells on microglia.
