Sorry, Tim. I’m a big fan of yours, however Donald Trump, and all of his sycophants are grossly attacking our country, our rule of law and our constitution. Trump, his family and his friends are so blatantly corrupt. It is beyond words. I don’t want hard-core, left-leaning people in power more than you do however, I’m sick of these Congress people and senators, etc., who simply kiss the feet of Donald Trump as opposed to serving the people the constitution and our country. I’m not just making this stuff up by the way. It’s all very very true and dangerously real. Donald Trump has zero ability to govern and they is simply following the policies that are being created by project 2025. Project 2025 does not stand for our constitution. It does not stand for our country. And although I am Christian, I absolutely believe in the separation between church and state it. It is one of the most important foundation in common denominators that created everything our country stands for. That’s why we left Europe for God sake. Donald Trump in my opinion is most likely a criminal just within the Epstein files alone. He is protecting pedophiles, and that my friend I will never ever stand for nor in any of us. Donald Trump is a perpetual liar and he forces other people to lie and support his lies and if they don’t, he crushes them. Donald Trump is a wannabe dictator and he’s ruining our country because of it. In my view, most Americans are moderate, sometimes left leaning sometimes right leaning but mostly common sense moderate. Let me ask you something Tim, what has the Republican house and the Republican lead Senate done to get big corporations out of politics? Nothing! What have you done to make healthcare available for every single American and absolutely affordable for every single American and American is not to be denied when they need the healthcare?? Nothing, absolutely nothing! In fact, Donald Trump lived straight to our faces and told the entire country that he had a healthcare plan and it was in place and ready to go, when they never was one. He literally lied to the American people not to mention the American people who are suffering and needs healthcare. This is a corrupt dishonest leader who demands loyalty and if he doesn’t get it, he does everything to crush anyone who refuses to kiss his feet. I’m done with this guy. I will never vote for him again. And nor should anybody else or his stupid policies that are tearing our nation apart. It’s also so incredibly stupid to think that republican Americans don’t want and need their Social Security or Medicare just the same as any Democrat does. We all need those benefits and we all paid into the system. And what does Donald Trump do? He drops taxes for the richest people on earth that don’t need them, but the tax breaks and then he reduces our benefits whether were republican or democrat. It doesn’t matter our benefits get reduced. It’s total bullshit. He’s done nothing for our country. Maybe he kicked a few illegal immigrants out, but who cares because the way he’s done it he’s broken the law he’s created so much hate in virtual. He’s put children in cages. All the ridiculous shit. This administration sucks and anybody who supports him whether it’s out of fear or with their full open consciousness sucks too, and now we are at war. Fucking war! Our interest rates suck, our gas prices are super high, our food is super expensive, our rent is way too expensive, it’s impossible for my children to buy a house unless we help them even if they work full-time with good paying jobs. This president and this administration and the people who support him in Congress suck!

Texas Scorecard, a right wing media outlet, last filed an official update on its leadership in 2018. Among the directors are Bo French, the Republican candidate for Texas Railroad Commissioner, and Tim Dunn, French's largest donor. Scorecard has routinely amplified French.

You are why women who are really abused have a hard time being believed. How’s the Heritage Foundation treating you? Sounds like one of your focused communication skills. You are a disgrace and your smear campaign won’t work. Is this you? 👇

I went to both Jasmine Crockett’s and James Talarico’s final election Eve rallies. These events could not have been more different. My experiences at both made me convinced of who was going to win tomorrow. Crockett’s event was a “Community Conversation with Congresswomen Crockett, Pressley & Grijalva” at New Faith Church. About ~100 people attended. Talarico’s event was a “Take Back Texas Tour: Rally in Houston.” About ~1,000 people attended. Crockett’s event started nearly an hour later. The pews were half full, and the energy just wasn’t there. I don’t think Crockett’s event was designed to be energetic, but it just wasn’t inspiring. The speakers and the crowd were older, and at one point, one older speaker said “Tomorrow, use Google and Social Media to get your friends to go out and vote.” What does that even mean? Some members of the media left before the event was even over. Crockett’s message was constantly negative against Republicans. There was a lot of focus on identity, too. On how it was really cool that most of the people on stage were congressWOMEN. I would say that crowd of ~100 was 90% black and skewed older On the other hand, Talarico’s event was packed. He had several speakers speak before him to rally up the crowd. The energy was there. When Talarico came on stage, everyone went crazy. Talarico gave his classic stump speak that he’s given at other rallies, but you could tell he was hitting his stride. Talarico’s crowd was more diverse and included a mix and white and Latino people (probably 45% each). I would guess the rest was 5% black and 5% Asian. Talarico didn’t lean into identity, but his message was one of love, and his biggest applause lines were that he was going to win. After the rally concluded, they announced that Talarico would meet anyone and take pictures with anyone that wanted to. The line went out the door. I was in the first half and was able to meet him, but it probably took hours to get through everyone. My conclusion: the late momentum is 100% with Talarico. His campaign is a well oiled machine. There were volunteers with yellow vests everywhere, and they were very aware that the Kalshi odds had them having a last minute surge. My on the ground experience explains why Talarico has jumped 18% from 67% to 85% in the last 24 hours on the Kalshi odds. Momentum means everything in a primary, and let me tell you, @jamestalarico HAS THE JUICE. I think he wins by double digits

Thanks to Senate Republicans, 17 million people will lose their health care. Thanks to Senate Republicans, rural hospitals will close. Thanks to Senate Republicans, three million Americans, including veterans and seniors, will lose food assistance. Thanks to Senate Republicans, families will see their energy bills go up by $400 a year. Senate Republicans are doing all of this and more — hurting working people across our nation — in order to pay for $1 trillion in tax cuts for billionaires. There is still time to stop this bill before it passes in the House. Call 202-224-3121 and tell your representative to vote no.

Donald Trump just Barbra Streisand Effect-ed himself into a national conversation about (1) whether he has lied about his links to Epstein, (2) whether he has raped kids, (3) what role his lawyers have in this story, (4) whether Bondi is withholding the Epstein Files to save him.

Right now we're caught up in how much they cut Medicaid, who's holding out for more cuts, who voted no, what happened in committee, when they'll put it on the floor, what's happening with SALT, etc. But after Republicans pass this, tax distribution is going to enter the chat.

And most importantly, you can rephrase that sentence thusly with ad backup that will win a factcheck: "Rob Bresnahan voted to give himself and other millionaires tax cuts while cutting Medicaid and raising taxes for working Pennsylvanians."

"Republicans will give working class people tax hikes and cut their health care while lowering taxes for billionaires" is a sentence that is entirely backed up by Congress' designated, nonpartisan scorekeeper. Republicans ARE raising taxes on working class people

The *distributional* effects of the tax cut have been largely overlooked because Medicaid and SNAP deservedly got the spotlight, while SALT and R negotiations on toplines occupied Hill reporters. And some outlets are covering this (including those linked). But that being said-

It's extremely important to note that these distributional effects DO NOT include the effects of Medicaid cuts, SNAP cuts, energy tax credit elimination, or tariffs -- all of which will factor into voters' assessments of Trump and the Republican majority, and of this bill.

Why? It's largely because 1) Republicans eliminated tax credits that help pay for health coverage 2) R's set tips, seniors, and overtime provisions to expire in 2029 (the year Trump leaves office), while making permanent cuts for corporations / the wealthy nytimes.com/2025/05/14/us/po…

JCT is not alone in this finding. @TonyRomm reports, "a wide range of tax experts" including the Penn-Wharton model found "many Americans who make less than $51,000 a year would see their after-tax income fall as a result of the Republican proposal" nytimes.com/2025/05/16/us/po…

This isn't a nit-picky point based on a technicality or an asterisk. It isn't analysis from a far left group, the White House sent these tables out and posted them on their website. They're still there: whitehouse.gov/articles/2025… These tables say working people get a tax hike
