💙 Today, we remember the great Walter Smith.
On the fifth anniversary of his passing, we remember with immense affection one of the greatest figures in Rangers Football Club's history.

Here is a case in point when comparing the Rangers fan who was jailed yesterday. It’s night and day in terms of seriousness of each offence - yet the football fan is in jail, and the mad, coked oot his nut driver who demolished a house is walking the streets a free man.
🚨Watch this. Drug driver Arron Straughair, 36, ploughed a Transit van into a family home in Easington Lane, Sunderland. He had a cocaine breakdown product in his system and no insurance.
A grandad was knocked off his feet in his own living room. His granddaughter usually plays in the corner the van came through. Repairs are estimated at up to £90,000, and the family had to move out.
He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, drug driving and driving with no insurance.
His sentence was 16 months, suspended for two years, with probation and a four-year driving ban. The judge cited his job, his family and his "good prospect of rehabilitation".
She also said "lives are shattered every single day" by bad drivers. This family's nearly was, and he's still going home.
I've knocked on doors after crashes like this. Suspended sentences don't stop the next one.

If Man City are stripped of titles, the SFA must re-open the Rangers case.
OLIVER HOLT: Strip Man City of ALL eight of their Premier League titles and relegate them for their defrauding of Man United and Liverpool's history. English football is broken irretrievably and will never be the same again trib.al/SUQxN0I

AVAR ref tells the main VAR ref that he believes there’s not enough contact for the attacker to go down the way he does. So the main VAR ref ignores that & calls for an on field review?
So if the VAR room can’t decide one way or the other, how is it a clear & obvious error?

Chris Sutton described this incident as ‘being a 50/50 call’ when the Morelos goal was ruled out v Celtic
Today, Sutton believed a two handed push on the back of Sterling was soft and the defender needs to be ‘stronger’.
(the push debate, ultimately, turns out to irrelevant as Nisbet is offside)
However, in my opinion, Sutton should never be involved in Rangers games.
AND…..Boyd should never be involved in Celtic games.
Bring Punch & Judy together for Old Firm games….and that’s it.

As the biggest league in the world moves forward, Scottish football moves in the opposite direction. A regressive governing body afraid of scrutiny will do that.

Point 1 - it’s important to note we don’t always agree with the KMI panel, it’s an independent panel not associated with the SFA
Point 2 - it’s important to note that if you look at the stats from the KMI panel, we are down on errors compared to last season
So you do agree? 🤷♂️
▫️ Nicholson's handball against Celtic
▫️ Hearts' Kyziridis denied Fir Park penalty
▫️ Johnston's tackle on Moore in Old Firm
▫️ Nygren's penalty claim at Easter Road
