Perfect is the enemy of good. Launching something imperfect isn't super sexy, but it gets you a foothold -- and from there you can fight to the finish. 50% of something is greater than 100% of nothing. Software is never truly finished; it just gets released, and you move forward.

The #SFM hack is an unfortunate example of the dangers of proxy contracts in #DeFi. The blockchain is meant to be trustless, transparent, and immutable. Proxy contracts make protocols mutable, where you must TRUST the implementation. This undermines the purpose of #blockchain.
