@GovGianforte is busy playing globalist in Sri Lanka while Montanans go ignored. These "Partnership" programs are the perfect example of the mission creep that is hollowing out our Montana National Guard.
Some try to misrepresent @DefendtheGuard as an end to all overseas travel, but that is not the case.
We keep DTG strategically narrowed to combat missions only.
While these specific deployments hide behind the "civil" label to dodge @DefendGuardMT requirements, they violate the very spirit America First.
Our citizen soldiers belong home protecting MONTANA and our sovereignty, not acting as props for State Department outreach.
It is time to prioritize our people and our homeland.

The Maryland National Guard is set to deploy about 300 soldiers to the Horn of Africa as of part efforts to support counterterrorism security initiatives in East Africa.
