The interconnectedness of land features is why that it is folly to carve out land from the Greenbelt and think that the adjacent lands and beyond are not impacted.

I never have understood how the final 413 route was selected. The documents show that it was NOT because it was the route which would cause the least environmental damage. So much lost to create a 59km hwy which will enable more sprawl with auto dependent residents.
The big loser is the public. This top-down imposition of tall and sprawl needs to be rejected. We need to grow the region in a healthy and sustainable way through collaboration, not irresponsible diktats. #housing #TOC #onpoli thestar.com/opinion/contribu…
