Stockport Road, Levenshulme
A chalk stencil reminding @AndyBurnhamGM that without bold leadership and the implementation of CAZ, the air pollution in our community won't be improving soon enough.
Levenshulme has some of the worst levels of air pollution in the UK.

According to the City of Paris, in the last 10 years 150,000 trees have been planted and 45 hectares of parks created in the city, all intended to not only improve quality-of-life today, but also help the city adapt to and manage summer heatwaves of 50℃ (122F) by 2050.

Taking anything into your lungs apart from air is bad news. Whether it’s traffic #pollution, wood smoke, tobacco or #vaping.
Vaping damages young people’s lungs as much as smoking, study suggests. theguardian.com/society/arti…

For context…
The corrupt Tories siphoned billions to their pals via PPE contracts
£10bn of which was unusable
The winter fuel allowance will save £1.3bn
Don’t forget who helped rob this country blind in the first place.

It strikes me as strange that MP's are on £95k and they get all their heating and electrical bills paid.
But a pensioner must be on less than £12k and then they have to apply to get £200.
Seems like these MP's should be paying their own bills.

it is no longer efficient or practical for shoppers to bring two tonnes of metal with them, and then leave it in a public place while they shop
the 1950s idea of driving into a city and parking outside a shop is well out of date
