Tues & Wed are looking to be pretty warm. While not unusual for this time of year, temps will rise into the 90s inland, & into the 70s along the coast. Remember, heat-related illnesses can happen to anyone so it is crucial that you take care of yourself and your loved ones 1/2

ALT Beat the heat. Stay cool: stay in an air-conditioned place as much as possible. Call 2-1-1 to find a cooling shelter near you. Do outdoor activities when it's the coolest. Cut down on exercise. Do not leave children or pets in cars. Stay Hydrated - drink mroe fluids, regardless of how active you are. Stay away from sugary or alcoholic drinks. Replace salt and minerals (sports drinks can help). Keep pets hydrated (leave water in shade). Stay informed - check the forecast for extreme heat alerts. Know the signs of heat-related illnesses. Use a buddy system when working in the heat. Check on your neighbors, friends and family. Monitor those at high risk.

❌SB 719: Created Extreme Risk Protection Orders
❌HB2013: Prevents convicted domestic abusers & stalkers from possessing guns

Third, aggressive enforcement of existing laws to keep guns out of the wrong hands. We cannot allow the ideological extremes to prevent us from urgently finding practical solutions to keep our children safe. Nothing is more important. (3/3)
