⭐️And that’s where you come in, community. With your support, our organization can continue to work with local parents and caregivers, care champions and care providers. 3/
Child care is essential infrastructure, the workforce behind the workforce that makes all other work in our country happen. And when we work together, we get things done. Though our work to make meaningful changes that will benefit all Americans will prove more challenging... 2/
As we wait for official battleground results from state officials as they #CountEveryVote, be sure to check in on each other. If you have yet to turn in your ballots, be sure to do so by 8pm TONIGHT! And remember: voters decide elections, not politicians or billionaires.
Who will advocate for caregivers both at the Capitol & in their districts. Learn more about them and The Mother PAC's ballot endorsements (#M116 and #M117) at motherpac.org/2024election and be a #carevoter this election. /5 #orpol #2024Election

No one should set their own salary—especially when taxpayer dollars are involved. The current system where legislators set their own pay doesn't make sense and creates barriers for working Oregonians to serve in public office.
That's why we’re working to pass Measure 116, which would create an independent commission of everyday Oregonians to determine elected officials' pay.
When more voices are at the table, our democracy works better for everyone. Learn more: ocpp.org/2024/10/17/measure-…
