[She shreds the laces, shooting him a dirty look as she yanks her right skate off with a grumble.] "Ass." [A quick balance check. One minor grip adjustment. Aim locked. Then. Her pretty, makeshift weapon is flying at his dumb head with deadly accuracy and a cartoony whistle.]

[She props herself up on her elbows with a little grunt, a not-entirely-unpleasant tingling sensation creeping slowly back into her otherwise numb butt cheek as she scowls up at him.] "Bite me."

It's sweet when he worries. Unnecessary, but completely sweet. She's fine, for the most part. Her ego's a little worse for wear, and sitting is definitely a non-starter for the next hour, maybe two. Possibly until spring. He's welcome to join her. Horizontally, if he likes.
