The fact that everyone needs healthcare eventually does not establish that everyone is entitled to have it provided through a collective system. Each individual is a distinct person with his or her own life to lead.

Medicare for All doubles down in the wrong direction. We already have a system that is half-run by the government if you broadly include all the spending, regulation, and influence. Advocates want to take the frustration with that system and use it to sell you a 75%, 90%, or 100% government-run system. Instead we should be asking for freedom in healthcare and medicine.

Healthcare bills can include billed charges, negotiated rates, deductibles, coinsurance, facility fees, anesthesia fees, and more. But ultimately, what patients want to know is simpler: what will the total cost of care be for my family and me? Price your procedure today at SurgeryCenterOK.com.

No, it's impractical and immoral. There is nothing compassionate about using government coercion to force one person to pay for another person's health care.
Could single-payer healthcare actually work in New York? @Alexa_the_human looks at the research, the economics and the political obstacles surrounding the New York Health Act—and argues against treating the status quo as inevitable. indypendent.org/2026/07/new-…

760,000 ObamaCare enrollees had no Social Security or immigration numbers, paid no premiums and filed no medical claims. Yet taxpayers were footing their bills. ObamaCare has a fraud problem, not a coverage problem. Glad to see the Trump administration cleaning up the mess. wsj.com/opinion/obamacare-fr…

A $5,000 check for every adult American would carry a hefty price tag 💰 @AFPhq's @KurtCouchman argues it could come with broader consequences for the debt, inflation, and the economy. Read his latest on the proposal and what he says Congress should focus on instead. ⬇️ americansforprosperity.org/p…

Medicare paid hospitals 211% more than independent physician offices for the same drug administration services in 2021. Ridiculous policies are incentivizing hospitals to acquire physician practices, consolidate care and drive up costs. American taxpayers pay the price. washingtonexaminer.com/op-ed…

Five or fewer hospital systems control at least half the market in 42 states and D.C. That’s not competition. That’s a cartel with a billing department. Break up Big Hospital. Patients first. archive.ph/vfrDJ – at Alexandria, VA

Great convo with @RepMcCormick on why fighting socialism isn’t optional — it’s essential. Freedom and individual liberty are the backbone of real opportunity, and we can’t afford to let that slip. Yet 192 Democrats voted against standing up to socialism this week. That tells you everything you need to know. Join @AFPhq at fightsocialism.com

Freedom and individual liberty aren’t just talking points — they’re the engine of real opportunity. Every time socialism tries to trade choice for control, people lose. Freedom wins 10/10. Let’s keep it that way. nationalreview.com/news/cons…

The DSA take on health care does not land with Americans. Here’s why:

Instead of requiring FDA to confirm that a drug is both safe and effective (the current policy), just change FDA’s mission to focus on safety alone: - Faster cures - More tools for physicians and more hope for sufferers - Longer, healthier lives - Lower drug prices - Lower government spending and smaller deficits - A healthier workforce, driving a stronger and more competitive economy

WFH with a toddler who has an ear infection, and somehow I’m still turning Costco into a healthcare reform metaphor. But let’s be real — @Costco started it. If they can figure out bulk groceries, diamonds & delicious $1.50 hot dogs they can figure out a health plan people actually want. & Washington should let them.
