This morning @wesstreeting confirmed that financial support for the hospice sector would be announced before Christmas.
We're still waiting for the detail of what this means, but it's positive to hear that the Government seems to be listening to our concerns around funding.

Today is a big - and slightly terrifying - day for @brumdispatch. It's the day we turn on paid subscriptions and discover if people are prepared to pay for local journalism. 🤞

**PLEASE HELP**
The Edgbaston Village Artisan Market, which was due to be held on my gallery's street tomorrow, has just been cancelled due to weather conditions.
These markets are essential for businesses down our street, and they are the only really busy day of the month. 🧵

15 years ago my PhD advisor taught me One Weird Trick for editing your own writing. Edit **back to front**, paragraph by paragraph. I still use it and it still surprises me how well it works. When I get my students to do it, it often blows their minds. Try it!
