Huge news: have partnered with Postcode Lottery to fund 150 annual subscriptions to The Dispatch for 16-25 year olds.
We’re always banging on about how important it is that local journalism is paid for, but we know younger people often struggle to afford a news subscription.

Art.Quarter was a creative hub in Digbeth and the UK’s first, fully-halal food hall. Two Thursdays ago, the business went up in flames.
Now concerning allegations by former staff members have emerged about Jordan Patel, the 48-year-old entrepreneur who founded the organisaion.
But not everyone is sympathetic. A few weeks before the fire, a letter began to circulate. It outlined serious claim by more than 12 staff members ranging from: “threatening, coercive, intimidating and abusive behaviour towards women” to “significant unpaid wages”.
