In response to the tragic injury of a young person in a collision allegedly caused by a person on electronic monitoring, some are calling for more stringent GPS surveillance conditions and an increase in pretrial detention.

At times, only two 911 dispatchers serving St Louis City. Residents put on hold for 10-20 minutes and police showing up sometimes hours later, often misaligned to the needs of residents. Majority of 911 calls: services, mental or medical health—not violent crime. #Transforming911
