(1/2) I don't consider social media a battlefield and am fine to agree-to-disagree stance, but taking apart someone's flimsy argument to the point of them blathering nonsense from anonymity is still enjoyable to me.

No, and it hasn't been better even going back as far as 20 years. Toronto has become unaffordable thanks to marketing shelter like a luxury item. BATRA'S BURNING QUESTIONS: Is your life better than 3 years ago? youtu.be/DtJtDT-xqWI?si=kOX6… courtesy @TheTorontoSun

This is an example of what caused the Separatists to lose on October 19th, 2026.

If you were born in Canada (like myself) or took the oath of citizenship, you are Canadian. My Dad came from Scotland, my Mom from Ireland. If I am not Canadian (using his flawed logic), would I be Irish? Would I be Scottish? Who am I?
Did your ancestors help build this country? If not, you may have a Canadian passport, but you’re not Canadian.

No, apparently it did not. source: calgarycitizen.com/p/alberta…
‼️MAJOR BREAKING: Albertans have reportedly submitted 300,000 signatures (43 bankers boxes) of Albertans looking to trigger a referendum to leave Canada. ....SMASHING the 170,000 requirement set by Elections Alberta. This is going to happen. Buckle up Canada.

Dear @MarkJCarney, Canada DOES have an affordability crisis. -signed, low income earner.
The Liberals just voted AGAINST a motion recognizing that Canada is in an affordability crisis. Par for the course when the prime minister can say with a straight face that “affordability is the best it’s been in over a decade.”

This is the reason why the Separatists lost. Immigrant and poor-hating White Christians do not represent Canadians.
There are two kinds of Albertans that want to stay. Liberal lovers, boomers & immigrants living off the system, and Albertans that love Alberta, would love to be free but are scared of the change. It will all work out.

I think this is a good idea. If the separatists don't like living in a country that is slightly left of center politically and embraces multiculturalism and diversity then maybe Canada is not for them. I bear no grudge against their right to find a place where they will be happy.

Meanwhile, there is lack of affordable housing for low-income Canadians like myself. How can we market an essential need like shelter as a luxury item in Canada while somehow finding money for those living in the Dominican Republic?
#REPORT: The Carney Liberals have announced that they are contributing $100 MILLION of your tax dollars to the GROW Initiative, which they say will help fund the construction of an "affordable housing project in the Dominican Republic."

"That would be hundreds of thousands of 3rd world invaders.....". And the Separatists wonder why the eff they lost.
Who are the 25 percent of Albertans who want Independence you may ask? Well, let's see. That would be the 25 percent who work in the private sector, create all the wealth, do all the hard work, and are predominantly white, decent, and successful. Who are the 75 percent who want to stay in canada? Well, let's see. That would be hundreds of thousands of 3rd world invaders the Liberals sent here, countless useless and overpaid government workers, welfare recipients, AISH scammers, drug addicts, sexual perverts and deviants, and thousands of other Marxist reprobates. Once you know this, you know REAL Albertans actually won the referendum!
