How have they become so stupid. Obviously not taught RULE OF LAW first
A man serving LIFE for sexually assaulting & strangling one woman to death, and beating a 15 yr old girl so badly she is now blind, brain damaged & a quadriplegic, has been SITTING in McGill law classes since August. More than half his classmates are women. None of them were told. Many now say they feel unsafe. When the school finally pulled him, pending a safety review, the Law Students' Association fought to put him BACK IN THE ROOM. A room full of future lawyers & potentially judges, looked at a predator and a room full of frightened women, AND PICKED THE PREDATOR!

This is despicable. These people who are not even Canadian citizens, murdered an elderly couple in cold blood. Not only should they enforce the existing parole rules, but quite frankly they are prime examples of why we should bring back the death penalty.

David Eby wants to push BC’s top combined tax rate even higher than 53.5%. That’s already one of the highest in North America. The top 20% of earners already pay nearly 65% of all personal income tax. Stack sales, payroll, gas, and GST on top and they’re handing over 70%+. He calls it a healthcare fix. It’s cover for a $14 billion deficit. BC is already losing private sector jobs. More businesses are closing than opening. Investment has collapsed. Skilled workers and entrepreneurs can leave. Raise the rates and more of them will. Higher taxes don’t automatically mean more revenue. They shrink the base. Fewer jobs, less investment, lower living standards for everyone left behind. People respond to incentives. Eby keeps pretending they don’t. I don’t know who’s worse, Eby or Doug Ford #cdnpoli #BCPoli

Unfortunately he won’t.
It’s not insane for a large segment of Albertan’s to be totally enraged by the treatment of the federal Liberal govt. The referendum has given the Liberals a reprieve and the ball is now in Carney’s court to see if he cares about pipelines, and the *eight* things that Albertans want.

There are two kinds of Albertans that want to stay. Liberal lovers, boomers & immigrants living off the system, and Albertans that love Alberta, would love to be free but are scared of the change. It will all work out.
Dear CBC panel of Easterners, Thank you for taking time on referendum night to explain Alberta’s own vote to Albertans. Four of you, zero permanent Albertans on the main panel, and the usual script: acknowledge the ā€œgrievances,ā€ then reframe them as leverage, irrational anger, or the Premier just saving her job. Cooperative federalism is a test when Quebec does it. When Alberta does it, it’s detestable. Got it. We’ve heard the lecture for 120 years. From the early farm movements and the fight against the CPR monopoly, through the National Energy Program that shut down rigs and sent families packing, to Northern Gateway cancelled, Energy East killed in process, and TMX turned into a multi-billion-dollar taxpayer liability while the tanker ban and regulatory layers stayed. Alberta has been a net contributor to federal finances for decades—Fraser Institute numbers put the cumulative figure around $322 billion from 2007/08 through 2026/27. Quebec receives the largest share of equalization this year. Alberta receives zero. Our resource jurisdiction under section 92A gets overridden by federal policy, carbon rules, and now backroom regulatory alignment with Brussels that prioritizes ā€œlow-carbonā€ sources while leaving conventional oil off the preferred list. You call it failure to understand the federation. We call it watching the same pattern: Ottawa extracts, redistributes, regulates the productive capacity that pays the bills, then sends Eastern commentators to tell us our frustration is overstated and a referendum settles nothing. The Parliamentary Budget Officer shows persistent deficits and rising debt service costs. Productivity and real per-person income growth have stagnated for a decade. Housing is unaffordable and entry-level work is scarce for our kids and grandkids while the rules keep getting layered on the province that still produces. This is not about Eastern superiority. It’s about a one-way street that has run long enough. The coin-counting has already started. Whether the official result is 75-25 or whatever the final tally shows, the grievances are not imaginary and they are not going away because a Toronto panel decided they were properly acknowledged and then dismissed. Alberta is done being lectured by people whose coverage and commentary are funded in no small part by the tax dollars and resource wealth we send east. The conversation continues—here, on our terms.

Dear Alberta, We know you’ve felt alienated by our coverage. Last week we even tossed in a token Albertan. Tonight, as you vote on your own future, four Easterners will explain what it all really means for you—because we can. We’ll call it a test of ā€œcooperative federalism.ā€ We’ll note that leverage is detestable (except from Quebec). We’ll observe that only some of you truly want separation, so the rest of your anger must be irrational. We’ll remind you the Premier is just saving her job and that referendums settle nothing. Your actual grievances will be acknowledged, then reframed as failure to understand the federation. It will never be about Eastern superiority or self-righteousness. But thank you for the tax dollars and resources that fund our $1.5 billion budget. Love, Brodie Fenlon Editor-in-Chief, CBC News, Toronto

I have a daughter in Airdrie, and I was born and raised in Alberta. I fully support the UCP and Danielle Smith, and I hope separatists don’t decide to take out the leader and replace her with a hard core separatist. Now that the referendum is over, the enemy is within Alberta’s borders…it’s the NDP

Right! & Hodgson & Carney go waaay back. He probably learned some tricks of the trade
MP Tim Hodgson sold his stocks to meet ethics rules. šŸ”“But he kept his interest in the Netten Joint Partner Trust. Netten, as in his wife Linda. What's in it? Not on the public record. Nobody outside the ethics office can check it for conflicts. šŸ™ƒ ethicscanada.ca/en/client?cl…

šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦šŸ¼oh please. Give me a break. He’s your son’s Godfather! You’re all in this together. You were both Rhode scholars together. You’re WeF together. Aren’t you supposed to be in Oxford right now. Ugh.
We thought once Freeland hopped that plane to Ukraine we’d finally get a break from the ā€œMr. Speakerā€ lectures. She keeps coming back šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¢ Now she’s out here saying Mark is doing an ā€œoutstanding job,ā€ that Canadians are ā€œproud of him and proud to be Canadian,ā€ and that she’d be proud to have helping get him elected written in her obituary. Proud of what exactly? Record deficits. Highest taxes in a generation. Food banks at all-time highs. Businesses closing. Young people leaving. Housing out of reach. And the same crowd that ran the country into the ground still patting each other on the back. She helped install him. Now she’s selling the failures as a win. Most Canadians aren’t feeling that pride at the grocery store or the gas pump. #cdnpoli

Could watch. He can hardly stop smiling.
Alberta decided to stay so I hope Carney doesn’t make them regret it.

Disgusting. Can’t believe they do this
OMG! Did you steal ANOTHER $10/day daycare space just like your boss? At least you’re going to ā€œdonate the differenceā€ though right? Right??? 😃

Keep in mind in Alberta, there are 180,000 approx. people on living on straight up welfare & other socially assisted programs, 1.3+ million new assylum, refugees & immigrants collecting provincial financial assistance, 300,000+ indigenous 200,000+ seniors, 62,000 people on EI, etc.. etc..etc..etc.. These people are scared of losing their full on financial income from the Provincial Gov't!!

Conservative MP Dane Lloyd on what Ottawa could do now while pipelines are still years away: ā€œAlberta and Canada is selling our oil at a $25 a barrel discount to the United States right now… If Prime Minister Mark Carney had lifted the west coast tanker ban, I’ve talked to people in the energy sector that said we could be shipping more Albertan oil off the west coast today to markets in Asia that will pay full price.ā€ He added that oil by rail to the coast is feasible with terminal work: ā€œWe could be moving oil by rail to the west coast today if we didn’t have a West Coast tanker ban when this Liberal government took office.ā€ Albertans want results, not 7–10 year timelines. Tangible steps beat rhetoric @DaneLloydMP

Perfect. Nailed it! There’ll e no pipelines for Alberta with carney, unless of course Brookfield is involved somewhere
I was a guest on a French CBC talk show just a few minutes ago. I got my message across, but listening to the 3 "experts" from Quebec tell viewers how Albert can't succeed without Canada was almost more than I could stomach. The Laurentian elite are really threatened by us, and they will do anything to get us to fail. Alberta independence is the only path forward.

Kate Harrison on Carney’s Alberta pitch: ā€œI think it was important for the prime minister to be out in Alberta last week making the pitch to Albertans. I think that he undermined that pitch by casting judgment on the other nine votes… He is casting judgment on a question that’s being put to Albertans before Albertans have had their say, and he did not do that before Quebecers went to the polls.ā€ She added that the off-the-cuff remark ā€œdid more damage than it did good,ā€ especially if Carney offers Quebec powers he withholds from Alberta @KatlynHarrison

Well if that doesn’t tell you something you must be pretty dumb. The story changed so rapidly! I bet if they asked the mayor now if he heard the explosions he’d probably say no
The evidence from Wainwright and the explanation given by the department of defense don't make sense. Sorry, but a grass fire doesn't kill 4 soldiers and injure dozens more. The base is now under totally communications blackout. Our soldiers can't even call home without being watched by a senior officer.

The world’s gone upside down! šŸ™ƒ
Funny I always thought murdering some innocent couple was the cruel & unusual part. Our (in)justice system continues to put murderers rights ahead of victims rights while these insane judges enjoy immunity from any kind of accountability. #JustWrong

Lie heck has he worked with Daniel Smith, he told her what she wanted to hear. Now she’ll see she was duped. I’m not in AB but I’m disappointed.
Alberta made its decision and now will have to accept its place as the anchor on a sinking ship. I don't want to hear anything from Albertans about equalization payments or climate change or immigration or any of the other Liberal policies that are destroying this province ever again. You want to be Canadian, and now you will be Canadian all the way to the bottom of Mark Carney's globalist abyss. 80% of Alberta is so naively married to a national identity that doesn't exist they sunk the only opportunity they had to break away from a federal project that has consistently ripped them off and ignored them. Now you are here for good. Pay your taxes to Ottawa, accept the constant stream of immigrants and shut the fuck up. You have no voice. Your votes don't matter but your dollars do. You'll keep paying to keep Canada solvent like you always have. And for the other 20% of us, we're now just passengers in this descent to nowhere. Elbows Up, retards.

100% it should
🚨 THIS IS WHAT ACCOUNTABILITY LOOKS LIKE! šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ Warren Hamm just signed a pledge to RESIGN and face a by-election if he crosses the floor. NO switching parties and keeping your seat without facing voters. THIS should be the standard for EVERY politician, provincial AND federal. THE MANDATE BELONGS TO THE VOTERS. NOT THE POLITICIAN.
