“The migration of our politics online has created a perverse incentive structure,” said David Brog, founding president of the foundation behind the annual National Conservatism Conference. “If you voice anti-Israel and antisemitic views, you get an instant reward in the form of clicks, likes and follows. This fuels the fallacy that the activist base of the party shares these views.”

OPINION | "We are in the midst of a battle for the heart and soul of America. Those Jews who do not want to pack their bags and move to Israel must stand our ground and fight."

My response to Brett Stephens in @eJPhil. He's absolutely right that it's a waste of time to try to persuade the haters. He's terribly wrong to recommend that we surrender the public square to them.

“He knows better. He is the vice president of the United States now. He doesn’t need to please the confused young groypers,” @DavidKBrog told Jewish Insider.
“He needs to step up, lead and teach them the right path forward.”

Israelis repeatedly warned the Bush administration that invading Iraq would be a disaster, writes @DavidKBrog.

According to @TuckerCarlson we went to war in Iraq "at the behest" of Israel. The exact opposite is true. We launched this war despite Israel's repeated warnings to the contrary.
quillette.com/2025/11/05/des…
If there's one thing that unites all of us in the America First camp, it's our belief that the Iraq War was a tragic waste of blood and treasure which must never be repeated. So if you'd like to convince America Firsters to oppose Israel, there's no stronger argument than claiming that Israel pushed us into that terrible mistake. But it's just not true -- if anything the exact opposite is true -- and anyone who was following the debate at the time (like @TuckerCarlson) knows this perfectly well.
Israel's critics note that Bibi Netanyahu came out in support of the war. He did. But Bibi wasn't Israel's prime minister back then. He wasn't even in the government. Israel's prime minister in the run up to the Iraq War was Ariel Sharon. And it was was common knowledge that Sharon and his government were deeply worried about Bush's war plans. They believed that Iran was a far greater threat than Iraq. And they feared that taking out Saddam would remove the greatest obstacle to Iran's regional ambitions.
As an ally dependent on a friendly American administration, Sharon didn't voice his criticism in public. Instead, he and his top advisors repeatedly expressed their concerns to their American counterparts behind closed doors. But nothing stays secret in Washington for long. Israel's warnings were the subject of stories in major outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times. We all knew where Israel stood. We ultimately went to war in Iraq despite Israel's concerns, not because of them.
May your memory be a blessing and an inspiration, Charlie. Your killer meant to silence you and everyone who shares your views. We owe it to you to speak out more.

The three biggest lies about Israel are that it's a "colonizer" and an "apartheid" regime currently conducting a "genocide." These claims are not only false, but in each case the exact opposite is true. Israel is the product of the triumphant return of the indigenous Jewish people to their land. Israel gave full equality to its Arab citizens (20% of the population). And Israel is achieving an historically low civilian to combatant death ratio in Gaza.
Colonizer. Apartheid. Genocide.
Three big claims about Israel. And three big lies,”
says @DavidKBrog in a Visegrad24 when asked what the most pervasive lies about Israel are.
How do we advance American interests abroad without sending our sons and daughters to fight foreign wars? We need more allies like Israel willing to confront, degrade and contain shared enemies on our behalf.
Why is what happens in Israel consequential to the safety and security of my family, myself and my community here in the US?
In this V24 Q&A, @DavidKBrog makes a compelling argument for the US-Israel alliance. 🇺🇸🇮🇱
Israel isn't committing genocide in Gaza. The exact opposite is true. Israel appears to be achieving the lowest civilian to combatant casualty ratio in modern urban warfare. This didn't come easily. Israel achieved this by giving up the element of surprise time after time. By sending their troops into harms way time after time. By Israeli soldiers coming home in body bags time after time.
You can call it a “genocide”, you can call it what you will, the facts will tell you you’re absolutely wrong!
says @DavidKBrog when asked what it feels like to know Israel is responsible for the deaths of children in Gaza in a V24 Q&A.
Israel is the ultimate American ally. It fights shared enemies on our behalf. It confronts and contains Chinese allies on our behalf. It protects our Arab allies on our behalf. It requires an astonishing level of ignorance or hate not to see how Israel advances our interests in the Middle East.
The Islamists in Iran hate Israel because they see Israel as an outpost of America in their neighbourhood, in the Middle East. Not vice versa.
Who did they take hostage in 1979? It was Americans in the American embassy.
says @DavidKBrog in a V24 Q&A.
It's true. This conflict did not begin on 10/7.
Anti-Jewish violence in Israel and elsewhere in the Arab world did not start on October 7, nor was it a response to Israel’s foundation. In fact, this violence started much earlier. MTF Executive Director @davidkbrog explains.
When JFK was assassinated, his administration was embroiled in serious conflicts with a dozen or so foreign nations. We were in the middle of the Cold War with the Soviet Union. We were actively trying to overthrow Castro in Cuba. We had backed a coup against South Vietnam's president just weeks earlier. We had recently participated in the assassinations of the leaders of the Congo and the Dominican Republic. And of course the mafia wasn't very happy with JFK. Yes, Kennedy was pushing for inspections of Israel's nuclear facilities. But this simply wasn't a big problem for Israel. Until 1967 Israel's main strategic ally was France -- the U.S. gave Israel little support and had little leverage. So what kind of a person ignores all of these factors (and the Warren Report) and jumps to the conclusion that Israel MUST have killed JFK? Only someone who's unusually bad at applying logic to facts. And only someone who believes the absolute worst about Israel and Israelis. Neither is a very good look.
